It was only three months before the blue prince of the Hegdehog Kingdom is crowned king, and he and his family, and neither his friends have found the right princess to become his queen. Right now, the prince, his family and their allies are in the royal meeting hall in the center of the United Kingdoms of Mobius.
"We've tried for months, and we still haven't found the right princess for Sonic!" Said King Jules, who's the father of Sonic. "But what shall we do!? If nothing else, we can have Sonic marry our daughter." Said King Maximilain.
"It is a thought, King Maximilian, but Sally and I did have a short interest in each other, but we ended it when she fell in love with Khan, and they're still dating." Sonic said, feeling down. "But what else can we do? If we don't find the right one for Sonic, he'll be depressed for the rest of his life." Said a yellow twin-tailed fox, who's name is Prince Miles 'Tails' Prower.
"Exactly, Tails, and I don't want my eldest triplet to be depressed!" Queen Aleena spoke with worry about Sonic. "Neither do Manic or myself, Mother!" "Yeah, but he's turned down every princess he met!" Said Sonic's green triplet brother and magenta triplet sister, Prince Manic and Princess Sonia.
"True, but we need to find a princess before the last petal falls, so we need to think!" Said King Pyro. "Wait, I think I know a kingdom!" Exclaimed Princess Sally.
"Really? Then what kingdom would that be!?" Questioned Prince Knuckles. "The Rose Kingdom, which is famous for its many roses, and their princess is said to be kind and loving to her people" Sally explained.
"Hey, that can work!" Shouted Princess Blaze of the Sol Kingdom. "We haven't tried that Kingdom yet." King Locke agreed. "That's a great idea, Sally." said Queen Alicia.
"So, where is the Rose Kingdom, Sally?" asked Prince Shadow. "Nicole, show us a map of the kingdoms." "As you wish, Sally." Nicole pulls up a holographic image of the land of the kingdoms, then Sally points to the direction of the Rose Kingdom, "The Rose Kingdom is only 50 miles to the west of our 6 kingdoms. The fastest way to travel is by carriage."
"Excellent, Sally, my love." Said Sally's boyfriend, Prince Khan of the Jungle Kingdom. "Well, since we havn't tried that kingdom yet, shall we get Sonic ready to meet the princess of the Rose Kingdom?" Asked Queen Maria of the ARK Kingdom.
"Great idea, Maria." Said King Amadeus. "Right then, Sonic, let us get you back to the castle and prepare for your trip." Said King Jules. "*sad sigh* Yes, father...." sighed Sonic.
And from there, the meeting of the royal allies ended and the Hedgehog royal family made their way back to their castle. However, Sonic was still a bit down. "Hey, Sonic, cheer up, I'm sure that the princess of the Rose Kingdom will be perfect for you." Sonia said to try and cheer her brother up. "You think so, sis?" Sonic asked, and Sonic replied, "I'm certain of it, besides, neither of us want you depressed forever."
"Your sister's right, young prince." said the enchantress, whose name is Earthia, "There is a chance that the Rose Kingdom princess will accept your feelings, but remember, you must earn her love in return." "I know, Miss Earthia, but still, I despise a woman who only thinks and cares about only herself." said Sonic, a bit more despressed.
"We all know that, my son, but cheer up, I'm sure you'll also be friends with the maids that she has." Aleena said with confidence. "I don't know, Mom...." Sonic said, a bit more depressed. "Aw.. come on, where's that smile of yours? You always had that smile when you greet the villagers in our kingdoms" King Jules said, trying to give his blue son joy, "I don't want you losing that smile forever, just think positive, my son." "Well, I'll try, Dad." Sonic got a little bit confident, despite being depressed.
Once the family got to the castle, King Jules ordered his guards to prepare the royal hedgehog carriage, while Sonic walked to his royal room. His bedroom is a resemblence of Green Hill, and his bed has a sky blue sheet with a deep blue colored pillow. And from there, his personal maid, Mina Mongoose came in and prepared Sonic to get ready to travel to the Rose Kingdom.
"Okay, your majesty, hopefully this time, you will be able to have this princess as your bride when you become king." Mina said while brushing Sonic's quills. "I still don't know about this, Mina. I mean, what if she only cares about herself only?" Sonic said, "we both know that I don't want a bossy queen ruining my reputation as royalty." "Of course, Sonic. But look, as Sally said, the princess there is said to be kind and caring for her people. Maybe she knows what you've been through and tell you her experiences with other princes." said Mina, finishing up getting Sonic ready, then King Jules came into Sonic's room.
"Sonic, are you ready? The carriage is waiting." King Jules said. "He's ready, my King." said Mina. "Alright then, come along, Sonic." called King Jules. "Okay..." Sonic said, still a bit depressed.
From there, King Jules lead Sonic to his carriage and once he got in, the carriage rode off to the Rose Kingdom. And then, King Jules and the other rulers and Earthia hoped that Sonic will fall in love with the princess there.....
