Alex Pov.

After hearing Noah's plan, I grew increasingly nervous. "Noah, please don't put yourself in danger," I pleaded. Noah turned around and looked at me. "I'd rather put my life in danger than yours or Sofia's," he said firmly. I couldn't fathom how he was so willing to risk himself for us.

"Noah is hardheaded," Vik chimed in from the other side of the room. "When he sets his mind on something, he'll do it."

I looked at Noah with concern. "Please be careful," I implored him. Noah took my hand and kissed it. "I won't let anything happen to me, because I have to be here for you and Sofia," he assured me. I wanted to give him a kiss to show my gratitude, but he stopped me. "Save it for after I win," he said with a playful smile, and I couldn't help but laugh. Noah had a way of easing my worries with his humor, but I still couldn't shake the bad feeling in my gut about what he was about to do.

As I held Sofia in my arms, I couldn't help but feel a knot in my stomach. I knew Noah was brave, but the thought of him going up against dangerous people made me scared for him. Sofia noticed the worry etched on my face and asked me why I looked sad.

"Sweetie, Noah has gone to fight some bad guys to keep us safe," I said, trying to keep my voice steady.

Sofia's eyes widened in amazement. "Noah is our hero?!" she exclaimed.

I nodded, trying to hold back my tears. "Yes, he is. But I just hope he comes back to us safe and sound," I replied.

It felt like time was crawling by as we waited for news from Noah. The minutes felt like hours and the hours felt like days. My mind kept wandering to all the worst-case scenarios, and I could feel the anxiety building up inside of me.

Noah Pov.

Vito and I arrived at the meeting point where the mafia that was after Sofia was supposed to be waiting. As we approached, we could hear voices in the distance. we both hid behind some crates to listen in.

"I don't know why we have to meet in this godforsaken place," said a voice that Noah recognized as one of the mafia members who had been harassing Sofia.

"Shut up, Tony," replied a deeper voice that Noah assumed to be the boss. "We need to take care of this problem once and for all. The boss won't be happy if we don't."

Vito and me exchanged a look, and then Vito nodded. we both drew their guns and slowly made our way towards the voices. As we got closer, we could see five men standing in a circle around a table, with the boss sitting at the head of the table.

"What the hell do you want?" the boss demanded as Noah and Vito approached.

"We're the ones who are going to take care of you and your little problem," Vito replied calmly, but with an edge in his voice.

The boss stood up, reaching for his own gun, but I was too quick. I fired my gun and the bullet hit the boss in the shoulder. The other mafia members immediately drew their guns and a gunfight broke out.

Vito and I quickly took cover behind some crates and began firing back. The sound of gunfire echoed through the warehouse, and it seemed like the fight was never going to end. But finally, we managed to take down all of the mafia members.

As we approached the boss, who was still writhing in pain on the floor, I grabbed him by the collar.

"This is what happens when you mess with my family," I growled, and then punched the boss in the face, knocking him out cold.

we quickly left the warehouse, knowing that the police would be there soon. As we drove away, I couldn't help but feel relieved that it was over, but also a little scared at how easily Vito and I had taken down the mafia. I knew that this wouldn't be the last time we would have to face danger to protect our family, but for now, I was just glad that Sofia was safe.

Noah returned home after the intense fight with the mafia. As soon as he saw Alex and Sofia, he hugged them both tightly, relieved to see.

"I'm so glad to see you guys" Noah said, his voice filled with emotion.

"We're finally okay because of you," Alex said, holding onto Noah's hand.

Noah looked at Alex and pulled him close to him. "I know I've been holding up for awhile, but I need to say it now. I love you, Alex."

Alex smiled and looked deeply into Noah's eyes. "I love you too, Noah."

Noah leaned in and gave Alex the special kiss that they had both been waiting for. It was a long, passionate kiss that made them both feel like they were the only two people in the world. Sofia looked on, giggling with delight.

When they finally broke the kiss, Noah and Alex looked at each other with a newfound love and respect. They both knew that they had been through a lot together, and that their love had only grown stronger.

Noah picked up Sofia and held her in his arms. "And we have our little hero here too," he said, grinning.

Sofia giggled and hugged Noah. "You're my hero, Noah!"

Noah looked at Alex and Sofia, feeling grateful for his family. "I'll always do whatever it takes to keep you both safe," he said, his voice filled with determination.

Alex and Sofia hugged Noah tightly, knowing that they had a hero in their lives who would always be there for them.

Alex Pov.

" Hold tight, don't let it go yet." I tell Sofia as she's holding the balloon." I won't!" she says holding it extra tight. I hold Noah's hands as we are standing outside watching  Sofia holding a red balloon." Let's send it to papa!" She lets go off the balloon with a little note that I helped her write that reads:

"Hey Papa!

I miss you so much but I know you're in heaven and I can't visit you there. But it's okay because Daddy and Noah are taking really good care of me. Guess what? Noah fought some bad guys to keep us safe and he's my hero! I hope you're happy up there and I'll wave to you every day from here. I hope you can see me!
