Chapter 52 - "Lisa, are you forced to say that by
Mu Jungkook or... You are still mad at what happened two years ago?" (1)

At the same time, Mu Jungkook suddenly stopped in
his stroking motion and, as though his mind was
somewhere else, mumbled, "It would be nice if that
girl would be as docile as this little fox."

Bai Jimin paused for a second and he seemed to
have an idea of where Mu Jungkook's paranoia came from.

Now that Mu Jungkook has stopped his stroking motion, the little fox has regained her ability to move.

She shook her little head left and right and she pushed herself up on her four little paws, standing on Mu Jungkook's thigh.

Docile...

She might just be a little fox, but she was a fox demon who had been cultivating for 500 years. He had promised her 50 million yuan and was her employer but at the end of the day, shouldn't she have some sort of freedom after all?

How could he treat her like a pet? He had to decide
what she was wore, where she went to sign with her
crew, and even what time she'd be home....

Looking her now. She was wearing nothing other
than her layer of soft coat. Why wasn't he saying
now that she wasn't wearing enough, huh? All he did
was stroke her nonstop.....

The more she thought about it, the angrier she got.

She finally kicked her hindlegs and leapt off of his
thigh. Her little butt swaying from side to side, she
headed back to her room for more air-conditioning.

Where her little paws had been left Mu Jungkook with a tinkling sensation. Looking at the petite size of the fox, he suddenly felt a little sadness. "For some reason, every time I looked at the fox, I felt like I was looking at Xu Lisa."

Bai Jimin smiled and said, "If you ask me, Xu Lisa is a fox demon."

Mu Jungkook's lips curled upward profoundly. He
pulled out his cellphone and dialed Xu Lisa's
number.

The ringer came from her room.

Mu Jungkook was speechless. He then dialed Xiao Rose's number.

The little fox perked up her ears and listened to
the conversation in his phone. She heard Xiao Rose
replied to his question honestly, "Lisa-jie has
two days off. She didn't need to come to the filming
location. Did she not mention it to you? She told me
that it is too hot outside and she is not going leave the
house at all but to stay in her air-conditioned room at home and eat a whole case of coconuts. So she should be at home right now."

Mu Jungkook grunted an acknowledgement and ended the conversation...

Xu Lisa, where were you? You didn't have your
cellphone with you and you even left your fox at
home.

He stood up and straightened up his clothes. Picking
up the laptop in his study, he turned around and said
to Bai Jimin, "Let's go. We have things to take care
of"

The front door shut closed. Only after Mu Jungkook walked far away enough before Xu Lisa spun around and turned back into her girly form.

That was too close.... a couple more times like that, her secret would be exposed.

Her time off went by quickly and it was time for her to return to work.

Shen Mingyu has started to get into the right mindset.

Wearing the traditional school uniform prepared by
the production team, he looked quite high-spirited. Xu Lisa ran into him outside of the dressing room.

Her intention was just to walk past him, but Shen Mingyu  initiated conversation with her, "Lisa, how have you been the last couple of days?"

"Oh, quite well. except that time went by too quickly,"
replied Xu Lisa politely. "Your efficiency is quite
high. You joined the filming crew so late in time but
was able to make up all the loss time in just a few
days. Here I was hoping for a few extra days off."

Shen Mingyu was on his way to go back inside the
dressing room and touch up his makeup, but now
he turned around and followed her in the other
direction. Half-jokingly, he said to her softly, "I can't do that. I am not sure if I can handle not seeing you for two days."
