Chapter 10

Katy's P.O.V

I wake up the same position I slept in

Laying on John and he's still asleep

I get up and check the time and it's 6 pm, boy that was a long nap

I check my phone and have 10 missed calls from Angela so I go down to the living room and call her

" hey Ang"

" hey Katy are you ok" I hear someone crying in the background

" yeah why'd you call 10 times and is that Grace crying"

" what 10 times I haven't called but that was probably Grace and yeah she is, she wants to go back home with you guys but I think you guys need some time"

" put her on the phone"

" mommy?"

" yeah baby"

" mommy I don't wanna stay here I want you"

" how about if you stay over with Stella for the night and when I get you tomorrow we could go shopping together just you and me"

" no I want you now "

" Grace honey daddy and I need some time ok and I promise you we'll do whatever you want after shopping tomorrow"

" okay" she sniffs from crying

" ok now put your Aunt back on the phone"

" hey"

" hey mind if I pick them up tomorrow"

" you can keep them as long as you want"

" thank you"

" no problem"

I hang up

" Katy?" John comes running down the stairs

" here" I shout from the living room

" oh I freaked out, who were you talking to"

" Ang"

" oh "

" and I told her we'll take the girls from her place tomorrow then I'll be shopping with Grace"

" you sure that's a good idea"

" yeah I think she'll have fun, we'll buy baby clothes"

" Kath we've got enough baby clothes"

" haven't heard you calling me that in a while"

" hhh the old days"

" yeah but I'll just get some clothes not much"

" ok and I'll go nuts if you get a Chanel bag home"

I laugh at what he said

" John"

" yeah"

" let's go to the beach lay on the sand and eat tacos just like the old days"

" if that's what you wanna do, let's go just get changed till I'm done making the tacos"

" ok"

I go up to our room and change my clothes and by the time I'm done John comes up and changes into shorts and a baggy shirt

We go back down and John gets two blankets and a basket with the tacos and puts some fruits in and two water bottles

We get in the car and John drives off to the closest beach near by so it wouldn't be a long drive home
