I smiled after posting Veen's sleeping face on IG. I looked at her and gently caressed her hair. Napakasarap niyang tingnan pag natutulog. She looks so peaceful and beautiful.
Matapos naming mag-usap kagabi ay nakatulog na siya dahil na rin sa pagod at kalasingan. I told her about why I avoided her the past few days and about Troy courting me. She understood. She just told me not to do it again and I promised her.
"Good morning Bunny"
I smiled when she slowly opened her eyes after she greeted me.
"Good morning babi. How's your sleep?"
Kinuha niya ang kamay kong nasa buhok niya at hinalikan ito. Umatras siya papunta sa kabilang side ng bed before she tapped the space next to her. Tumayo ako para humiga sa tabi niya. I hugged her and smelled her. I always loved her scent.
"It's good because you're beside me. How about yours?"
She asked while we're still hugging each other. I closed my eyes. This feels so good. Being with Veen feels so good.
"It was very comfortable. I haven't slept like that for a while babi"
We were hugging each other when we heard a bark. Tumawa kami ni Veen nang maramdaman namin ang pagtalon ng alaga niya at tumabi ito sa amin.
"You're a very jealous guy, Oli"
Oliver barked because of what Veen said and he started licking me. Oli is Veen's golden retriever. She had Oli way back when she was 5- bago niya pa ako nakilala so technically Oli is her first best friend. Oli is a very good boy. Parati namin siyang kasa-kasama ni Veen especially when we travel because he likes it a lot. Despite his age, Oli is still strong and very energetic.
"He really adores you bun. Mas mahal ka pa niya kesa sa akin"
I chuckled because of what she said and started giving Oli some scratches at the back of his ears. That's his favorite spot.
"Good morning Oliver. I haven't seen you in a while bud"
Oli barked again as if he's telling me the same thing. I gave him kisses kasi napakaadorable niya.
"I wish I was Oli"
Narinig kong bulong ni Veen kaya lumapit ako sa kanya at hinalikan siya sa pisngi. She's as adorable as Oli.
"Stop sulking bub. Let's go downstairs? I'm kinda hungry po"
She kissed my forehead. Hinayaan ko na ring bumaba ng kama si Oli. Tumayo si Veen at dahan-dahan din akong hinila patayo. She held my hand and opened the door so that Oli can go out, when Oli ran downstairs, lumabas na din kami ng kwarto at bumaba. Hawak-hawak pa rin ni Veen ang kamay ko.
"Good morning mga anak"
Her Mom greeted us. Wala din si Tito kasi nasa hospital pa. This is the disadvantage of having doctors as parents, we seldom get to eat with them during breakfast. As a matter of fact, we seldom eat with them. Madalas silang busy kaya minsan lang namin silang nakakasama. But Veen and I are glad that we always have our Moms.
Nagk-kwentuhan lang kami habang kumakain. Tita Lourdes asked me about my studies and how I'm doing in school. I did not elaborate everything kasi alam ko namang alam niya ang nangyayari since siya din ang nagpapalakad sa University namin. I bet she also knows about Troy. Hindi lang siya nagtanong dahil alam niyang hindi kami komportable ni Veen sa topic na iyon.
Hindi na rin namain pinag-usapan ang nangyari kagabi sa bar ni Taylor. Veen also messaged them sa gc namin kanina to forget about what happened because her Mom will take care of it. We don't wanna stress out about it anymore. Ang mahalaga ngayon ay okay na kami ni Veen after ng kagagahan ko.
