Chapter - 13

"Hey Serah"

Present :
She didn't looked even for a second and just ran towards Jimin. The moment they both hugged each other, the cameras were on both of them. Many pictures of them talking and being close were clicked and even though I was supposed to be by the side of my so called boss, this witch just isn't letting him go.

I sighed and started walking away from both of them but before I could move a muscle, meanie grabbed my wrist.
"Serah,  you might need to talk to others as well and so do I" He said and looked at her who was wearing a black laced dress.
"Alright then" she turned to the other side after glancing at me. I rolled my eyes and looked towards the cold man bside me.
"Ms.Kim don't go anywhere. I'll be back after greeting Serah's parents." he said and I nodded.
Now I am standing alone at the center of the hall.
"Y/n?" someone called and I knew who it would be.
"Hello Mr.Jeon" I said and forced a smile.

"Please drop the formalities." Jungkook said with a sigh
"I possibly can't do that sir" I said and he pouted. Why is he still so adorable to me.
"Kookie!" Someone called him and he turned around.
It was lady in green dress that looked perfectly beautiful on her.
"Oh you are here" Jungkook said looking at her.
I was confused and Jungkook noticed it.
"Oh Y/n, this is Yuna. Remember I told you about her before." he said and I remembered the time he used to mention her so much that was one of the cause of our fights as well.
"Well she is my secretary now and Yuna this is Y/n." he introduced us and she smiled at me.

"It's really nice to finally meet you Y/n. Jungkook used to tell me a lot about you." she said and I smiled back but for a reason I felt empty and sad.
"Well he used to talk about you as well." I forced a smile and she hugged Jungkook arm as she laughed.
"Really Kookie?" she teased him but wait that nickname was the one I gave him and no one else was allowed to call him that, he used to get so pissed at the nickname but still allowed me and now this.
"I think we should roam around a little. Wanna join us Y/n." Jungkook said while Yuna was still clinging onto him.
"No I am fine, you guys can go ahead." I said trying to smile.
"But-" Jungkook was cut off.
"I am hungry Kookie, let's grab something." Yuna said and Jungkook nodded.
"See you around Y/n" Yuna bowed and both of them walked away.

Well this explains it all, why he never felt like coming back and why he talked about her.
The memories of me and Jungkook flashed before my eyes. Those days when we used to enjoy our dates and talk for hours with each other. How he used to take care of me and sing for me when I was having a hard time.
I was so frustrating at this point that I ran towards the some window. It opened to a balcony and it was huge. The real reason of running away was the tears I couldn't control thinking of him. He seems to have moved on but I am still stuck up with this stupid affection towards him.
I tear slipped from my eye but I wiped it and inhaled some air feeling much calm then before. I just want to go home as soon as possible.
"Ms. Kim" I heard his voice again and footsteps coming towards me.
"What are you doing here? I've been searching for you?" he sounded quite mad.
"I am s-sorry." Shit my voice cracked.
"Are you okay." He said with a soft tone.
"I am fine let's go back." I said and turned towards him.
"We aren't going back inside, let's just head home." Meanie said and I kind of felt relieved.
"But sir, this party just started" I said.
"It's alright we can leave since you are not well and the people I came here for aren't present as well." he said with a soft tone but why do I feel comforted.

"Let's go." he said and grabbed my hand.
The moment he touched my hand, I felt my head spinning and I was about to pass out but he managed to catch me although it was clear he was feeling the same thing.
He helped me to stand but still held my hand, he was staring deep into my soul but his eyes were tearing.
"Y/n" he said almost like a whisper.
"Ji-Jimin" as if my mind wasn't under my control I just said his name.
I don't know for how long but we were just staring at each other. No matter for how long but I can always look into those beautiful eyes of him.

"Mr.Park, someone is calling you." A man in his late forties said. He couldn't see my face or us holding hand coz Jimin's back was facing him.
To my surprise he was still zoned out.
"Sir we should head inside." I said and he managed to come back from where ever he was.
"Uh-huh?" was all he said and I took my hand back from his grip.
"Sir, Mr and Mrs. Lee are looking for you." the man said and both of us went inside.
When I saw who called him,  it kinda pissed me off.
"Oh son, come here have a seat." the lady said who was sitting on the table near Serah.
"I am sorry auntie but I am leaving for now." He said and a man maybe Serah's father looked at him.
"What? why? We still have a lot to discuss." he said and I looked at Serah who was smirking.

"I am so sorry uncle but my assistant is not feeling well." the man beside said and everyone looked at me.
" She can leave by a cab or taxi you know or is it out of what she can afford." Serah said and her parents laughed.
So the whole family is like this. I was trying to stay calm just for his reputation and company. Obviously it is for work so I remained silent.
"Jimin, how can you hire someone who is so much broke." they were all laughing at her mother's words and  that was it for me.

"I believe you have no right to choose that for me." the man beside me said before I could, his gaze was cold as ever.
"What? Jimin what are you-" Serah was nervous and he again said something.
"Whatever I do and whoever I hire is none of your business and on top of that  this girl right here holds the power to destroy your company as well as your career Serah." he said pouting towards me.
"Jimin! Who do think you are to talk like that with us." Serah's dad said getting up from his seat.
"You are taking her side, Jimin even after you saw what she said to me the other day." Serah said.
"Whatever she said was true and I hope that form now on you'll stop with your trashy attitude." he said and again grabbed my hand leaving the hall. I saw many reporters and cameramen when the whole scene was going on.
Tomorrow's news will be a whole lot interesting.
