Chapter - 24

Jimin's pov

I woke up early today and went straight towards my bathroom and looked at the mirror. I had dark eye bags due to the lack of sleep. I smiled at myself, I knew I won't be able to sleep at the night knowing that Y/n and I are finally back together after so long of my wait.

I remember. Each and every moment of my past life as a dreamwalker. How our fate was so bad that we couldn't end up together no matter how much we tried. At the end we both sacrificed each other I was mad at Y/n when I saw her dying while looking at me.

Flashback

Y/n was the last thing I saw before I couldn't open my eyes anymore and when I did, I was again in front of the deity.
"My child" she said but I kept my gaze on the ground.
"I am sorry for you" I finally looked up.
"I can give you another chance" she said with a slight smile.
"What?" I was shocked.
"Yes, you'll be reincarnated as a human in the same realm as your soulmate" she said and I felt happy tears coming out from my eyes.
A gate opened in front of me and I looked at her.
"This is the way, my child" she said pointing at it.
"Wasn't I supposed to cease? How's it possible that I am still getting another chance?" I asked and she smiled brightly.

"It was longing and will power of her that led you should be saved. Her desire was so strong that even if I wanted I wouldn't have been able to erase your existence because somewhere you are still remembered and strongly loved."  she said and now I cried non stop.
"C-Can I see her for the last time? I will forget everything once I reborn." I asked and she nodded.

In a split second I was somewhere that looked like and abundant building. I saw bullet marks as I panicked.
I hid behind a wall when I heard people talking. I tilted my head to see who they were and I saw her, Y/n. My love was smiling and talking to her friends but why is he injured.
I saw police officers were taking someone away but that person took the gun and shot it. I wanted to run towards her but my legs whole body wasn't under my control anymore as I saw Y/n took the shot for her friend.

My heart stopped then and there. I felt her energy slowly fading away. She looked at me and our eyes met. A slight smile was all she gave me as if telling me that she was happy but I could sense her desire to die.
Everyone rushed towards her but this was of no use. The person I loved the most more than anything, died in front of my eyes.
It was her regret. She blamed herself for everything that happened. Her parents death and what happened to me. It took her will away. I wanted to scream but couldn't. I was so mad at her after she promised me she would live happily then again she broke her promise.

End of flashback.

I was right now in my car. The memories of our past life sure hurts a lot. I feel bad that I couldn't remember a thing. I knew that those weird headaches when I touch her was something and it turned out this way.
Well freedom surly comes with a price, I was cursed with Y/n's ability of hearing thoughts.
That day at the party I knew I had feelings for her and then at hospital for the whole night I held her hand and that's when I remembered everything.
The only weird things here is that Y/n doesn't seem to remember anything. I have to try but even if she don't it doesn't matter to me. I will protect her this time with all I have.

I was halfway to my office. It was a place that didn't had many cars passing by as I took a shortcut on purpose. Let's see if they do as I am expecting.
"There we are" Three black cars were following me.
I am thankful I confessed to her on time.
They suddenly sped up and now they were I front blocking my way.
"Let's go Jimin" I opened the car door and one by one a lot of men came out of the cars. I didn't expect this many but it's going accordingly.

All of them came towards me so I fought a few but one came from behind and hit my head hard. I felt numb and slowly it was all going black.

I opened my eyes and it was the same dark room again.
It was the same place but it surly was in a much worse condition. Well I can find that person who murdered Y/n. All I have to do is wait.
I heard the room's door open and footsteps were getting closer. The person kneeled to my level buy light still didn't hit his face. I could see a slight smirk on their face.

"So you thought I will fall for your plan, Mr. Park Jimin?"
