Chapter - 20

Previously :

"Kim Y/n and Mr. Park come down right now!"

Present :
We rushed down stairs as soon as we heard my mom shouting.
My soul almost left my body when I was about to trip on stairs but Jimin held me on time.
It was a moment when I'll feel butterflies but anxiety just didn't left me.

When we finally made it to the living room, I saw my mom sitting on the couch.
"Explain this" mom said holding up a bill.
"What?" I looked a closer look and it was about my car.
"Oh it's-"
"You were in that car and didn't even told me even you Mr. Park" mom looked at both of us.
"Mom we didn't wanted you to worry please understand" I tried to convince her but she sighed.
"Ma'am- I mean Aunty I am sorry I couldn't get myself to tell you about it. All of you were panicking that night" Jimin said and kneeled down in  front of Mom as he held her hands.

"I made a mistake but Y/n doesn't have any fault here so please don't be angry with her." Jimin pleaded.
"Please get up Mr. Park. I overreacted maybe, you don't have to apologize. I was just so shocked when the person who gave me this bill told me about the whole thing" mom said as Jimin slowly stood  up.
"You two should get some rest. A lot happened since then" mom said and we nodded.
"I am sorry about that" I whispered and he shook his head.
"Parents are the first priority right? Don't be sorry for that and she's a mother it's natural for her to get worried" he said and I nodded. This man's each and every word made my heart beat crazy. I thought he was just a spoiled rich guy with a huge ass ego and pride but he turned out to be down to earth.

"Y/n and Jimin" I turned around and saw my dad.
"Yes dad" I asked.
"You two are dating?" he asked as if it was such a simple question but Jimin's breath hitched who was standing right beside me.
"Well sir umm yeah actually" Jimin said and laughed awkwardly.
"You both should've told me about it. How can you hide such an important thing from me" dad said and shook his head.
"It hasn't been a lot of time but how did you find out?" I asked.
"Oh my God! Y/n! Jimin!  You both are all. Over the news!!" Jin came shouting.
He ran and hugged the both us then hit my arm.
"How dare you hide that from me?!" Jin said.
"Oppa calm down" I said so mom won't hear us.
"Hide what?" it was mom's voice behind Jin. I looked at her with shock.

"Mom! THEY ARE DATING!" Jin shouted at the top of his lungs while mom gasped.
"You can't be serious? You again hid it from me" mom said and told everyone about the car.
"Honey calm down it's actually not their fault" dad said.
"Jimin, we'll have some discussion to do after dinner okay son?" dad said and Jimin gulped but still nodded with a smile.

???'s pov
I was sitting in my house planning for what should be the next move to make that mind reader girl pay for what she did to me.
"I wonder if you can still read thoughts" I said as I turned on the TV being bored.
It was a news channel.
"The CEO of park industries and Co is dating his very own secretary Ms.Kim Y/n. They have been spotted together numerous times while holding hands and Mr.Park was even seen joining and leaving a party with her. For more information stay with out channel." I turned off the TV as soon as it ended.
"So she got herself a lover" I smirked as I looked at the blank TV screen.

"Looks like the perfect target for my next move"
