Shaun's P.O.V.

The girl moaned as I sucked on her neck. She gave me a sultry look, trying to look sexy. Normally I would just ignore the weird stuff...like that, and get right to ripping her clothes off, but a stupid copper topped head kept running through my brain.

With a sigh, I pushed the girl off and stalked out of the boy's locker room. I heard her whining behind me but I ignored her and went off down the hallway. Why was that stupid girl always in my head? I wasn't even able to take that girl's shirt off.

I moodily stalked around a corner and bumped into the small, copper headed devil who had been occupying my thoughts.

She almost fell but I grabbed her hips, and I couldn't help but notice how......nice they were.

Kaylee righted herself and looked up at me. She gave me a smile and said, "We always run into each other." I smirked and said, "Must be fate." She rolled her eyes then noticed that my hands were still on her hips.

She coughed uncomfortably and I smirked as she pulled away. "Well, bye." As she turned to leave, I noticed something at her collarbone. I grabbed her hand and spun her around. Her expression was shocked as I pulled her closer to me.

"Wha-what are you doing?" She stuttered nervously as I moved her hair and examined her collarbone. It was a dark black and purple color. Not only was it bruised, but it was cut with small scratches.

"What happened to you?" I asked as I touched it gently. She flinched away from my fingers and said, "Nothing, this happened the other night when that man attacked me in the park." I thought back and then said slowly, "No. I would have noticed. Your hair was back in a ponytail and with the shirt you had on I would have seen this. Plus, there was nothing for you to cut yourself on." She waved her hand impatiently and said, "It was dark out and there were lots of twigs on the ground." She refused to meet my eyes and tugged her hand, trying to get away from me.

I narrowed my eyes, "Kaylee stop lying to me. Who did this?" She remained quiet and looked away. "Was it Cody?" I asked softly pulling her closer to me. Her eyes widened and she cried, "O-of course not! How could you....why would you even......the nerve of you!" She wrenched her arm from my grasp and ran off down the hallway. I stood there watching her go as my blood slowly started to boil. I don't know what happened but he hurt her, and if he didn't watch himself, he would pay.

Kaylee's P.O.V.

I added the last touch of concealer to my bruise and nodded. No longer visible.

I let out a shaky breath as I thought back on my conversation with Shaun. What did he know? How could he have guessed that?

He was right. Cody had done that. But it was an accident! He didn't mean to.

He had been drinking, and we had been making out, and things got...heated again. But this time when I denied him he didn't take it as well. He pushed me to the ground and started yelling and throwing things. I ran out quickly, but not before a bowl had shattered against my collarbone.

When I got home I took the shards that were left in my skin out and washed it out. My mom was still at work though it was already nine at night, and only God knows where my dad was. Probably at a bar hooking up with some twenty-year-old stripper. They would be leaving soon anyway.

I glanced both ways before sneaking into the hallway. I sprinted to my truck and climbed in before taking off for my house. I sighed, happy I hadn't run into Shaun again. I didn't need anymore of his questions.

What have I done?

So Kaylee and Jessie being secretive. Who's Damien and is Kaylee being an idiot? The answers are...I can't tell you, and in my eyes totally yes! Girls out there, don't let any guy abuse you. I believe in second chances in relationships, but not when it comes to abuse. Once an abuser always an abuser. Don't take that bullshiz!
