The Dai Li are the protectors of our cultural heritage" Joo Dee said "then who was that other woman that also called herself Joo Dee, and don't say your twins" Cordelia said "Oh, I simply took a short vacation to Lake Laogai, out in the country. It was quite relaxing." Joo Dee said "But then they replaced you with some other woman who also said her name was Joo Dee" katara asked.

"We'll split up to cover more area. Toph, I guess you should just come with me." Sokka said gluing posters on the wall "Why? Because you think I can't put up posters on my own?!" Toph said gluing the paper angrily on the wall "It's upside-down, isn't it?" She asked "and backwards, just go with Sokka" Cordelia said as Toph agreed and left.

"What happened?" Cordelia asked hearing sound coming from an alley "what is it?!" Sokka asked "Jet's back" katara said after pinning him to the wall "oh wow" Jet said staring at Cordelia "We can't trust anything Jet says" Katara said "But we don't even know why he's here!" Sokka said "I don't care why he's here, whatever the reason is, it can't be good" Katara said angrily.

"Did he break your heart to make you angry like this?" Cordelia asked "no!" Katara shouted "I'm here to help you find Appa!" Jet said taking out a flier "Katara, we have to give him a chance" Aang said.

Later

"This doesn't make sense they're both telling the truth" Toph said after a girl hugged Jet "if I smack Jet do you think he'll confess" Cordelia asked walking up to him "give it a go" Toph said before Aang stopped her "we don't wanna do anything rash just yet, there must be a reason" Aang said "Toph can't tell who's lying because they both think they're telling the truth. Jet's been brainwashed!" Sokka concluded.

"Do you have any way to know what happened?" Sokka asked as they tied Jet to a chair "we need to find a way to jog his real memories" Aang said as Cordelia handed him her umbrella "I need you to try and remember something, you can go as far back as you want no one is stopping you" Cordelia said placing her forehead against his "gonna give him a kiss Cordelia?" Sokka said making kissing faces as her hair turned white and her diamond reappeared on her forehead.

"What are yo-" Jet said before his eyes glowed white along with Cordelia "what'd you find?" Sokka asked "They took me to a headquarters under the water. Like a lake!" Jet said "Wait! Remember what Joo Dee said? She said she went on vacation to Lake Laogai!" Sokka said "thank you" Jet said staring into Cordelia eyes blushing before she pushed him away "your welcome" she said as the group left the house.

"So where's this secret headquarters?" Sokka asked after they reached their destination "Under the water, I think." Jet said scratching his head "There's a tunnel right there by the shore" Toph said pointing at a spot and revealing the path. "The Dai li knew we were here" Cordelia said as they fought "long Feng is escaping!" Aang said as he and Jet ran out the room.

Time skip

"A letter for me?" Cordelia said as the earth king passed her two scroll "what does it say" Sokka asked curiously "...it's just from my father and fiancé" she said tossing the scrolls into the fire "I'd kill to get a letter from my dad" Katara said "yea well that's you, I don't care" she said watching the scroll burn.

"Sigh" Cordelia said as they planned for the invasion "what's wrong?" Katara asked "just a bit tired that's all" she said walking towards the earth king's palace "you could have gone with Sokka to see our father, your fiancé was there" Katara said "no thanks" She said "you keep saying you have a fiancé but I don't see an engagement necklace on you" Katara asked as Cordelia took out a necklace from her pocket "I can't get rid of it for obvious reasons" She said placing the jewelry back in her pocket.

"How about we stop and get some tea" katara said pointing at a tea shop before hearing familiar voices from the shop "it's Zuko" Katara said surprised "seems like they moved their shop from the lower level" Cordelia said clapping her hand together "you knew he was here?" Katara asked hiding behind the door and watching the two "well be didn't seem to want to cause trouble and look he looks to be living a good life" Cordelia said smiling as she watched Zuko chat happily before Katara dragged her away.

"Katara your over reacting" Cordelia said trying to stop her friend from pulling her "you can't trust Zuko Cordelia, he's been trying to capture Aang since day one, let's go warn the earth king" katara said dragging her. "Thank goodness you're here, Suki. Something terrible is going on. The Fire Nation has infiltrated the city, I just saw Prince Zuko and his uncle! We have to tell the Earth King right away!" Katara said running into the hall only to see Azula and her friends waiting.

"I'm seriously regretting coming here" Cordelia said as Mai tied her and Katara to the wall "Thanks for your input" Katara said letting out a sigh "how could we be so stupid? We could have checked which Kyoshi warriors were here" Cordelia said as it went silent "do you think the others will know we're in trouble?" Katara asked breaking the silence "it'll take sometime, days weeks perhaps I don't know" Cordelia said somehow finding a way to unlock the chains.

"Where to now?" Katara asked as they wondered the cave "I don't know we've tried everywhere" Cordelia said sitting on a crystal "You've got company" the dai li agent said tossing someone into the hole "Zuko!" Katara said angrily "Why did they throw you in here? Oh, wait, let me guess. It's a trap. So that when Aang shows up to help us, you can finally have him in your little Fire Nation clutches!" Katara said before Cordelia closed her mouth shut.
