Katara asked "no thanks too slimy for my taste" Sokka said as katara shot back at him "hold on where's Cordelia?" Sokka asked as katara got appa drool off him "she's below deck throwing a fit about how hot it is up here" Zuko said grabbing her cheek after remembering the slap she gave him for opposing her.

Later

"Is something wrong? The water currents have changed" Cordelia said weakly walking up to deck "something came up so we had to change course, you should go back and rest" Zuko said holding Cordelia as her support "I'm fine thanks for worrying, and sorry for slapping you yesterday" she said embarrassed as a submarine rose from the water "nephew" Iroh called out popping his head from the hood "Iroh's here, Zuko what's going on here?" Cordelia asked "I'll explain later but let's get everyone in the sub" Suki said leading her to the sub.

"I think I understand what's going on here" Cordelia said peeping out the carriage curtains "you do?" Zuko asked "yea, this path is steep and silent" she said side eying him as he nodded confirming her suspicions only to hear a loud thud from the outside "what's going on?" Zuko asked stepping out "nothing to worry about, an old tree fell but nobody's hurt" Suki reassured before more trees fell to the ground.

"I don't think that tree fell because it's old" Zuko said spotting a bomb attached to the tree "stay put" Zuko said getting out the carriage "I'm coming with you" Cordelia said opening the door before Zuko stopped her "what are you doing?" She asked as he gently pushed her into the carriage "stay here and protect them from the inside" He said as she slowly agreed.

"I thought I told you not to participate in the fight?" Zuko asked once the fight was over "you know I don't listen to you, and I don't plan to start now" Cordelia said kissing his cheek as they walked towards the palace "Kiyi maybe we should rest first we've had a pretty dramatic afternoon" Noren said as his daughter ran "aw, what's the big deal I knew Zuzu would keep us safe the whole time, come on come on!" Kiyi said running into the palace "be careful Kiyi or you'll fall" Cordelia said following after her.

"How was your time with Kiyi?" Zuko asked walking into Cordelia room as she undid her hair "quite energetic actually but I'm glad to be back with you" Cordelia said walking towards him before a guard barged into the room "I'm sorry fire lord but the governors son has been kidnapped!" The guard said "I should go, do you want to come?" Zuko asked about to leave the room "nope I'll just stay here and be alone" Cordelia said sitting on a chair.

Next day

"Zuko don't you think your spending a lot of with Mai?" Cordelia asked walking up to Zuko as he dressed up to head to the governor house "what? Her brother went missing it's my duty as the fire lord to look for him" Zuko said "other people's kids also went missing, why are you now paying attention to this when it's her brother?" She asked "Cordelia your asking too much questions I have to go" Zuko said "we barely spend time together ever since your mother came back, not saying that's a problem but I want to be with you" she said holding his hand.

"I know but this is really important" Zuko said releasing his hand from hers "do you still have feelings for her?" Cordelia asked "huh? What no" he said staring at her "I'm going home" she said leaving the room.

Few days

"Princess we're here" a fire nation soldier said docking in the North Pole "thank you, you can return to the fire nation now" Cordelia said leaving the ship before a few children ran up to them "look it's a huge ship!" The children said running towards the ship "please be careful" Cordelia said using waterbending to stop the children from falling into the water "seems like your back" Arnook said walking up to her "...Father" Cordelia said avoiding eye contact "come into the palace let's talk" her father said walking away.
