"Where to now?" Katara asked as they wondered the cave "I don't know we've tried everywhere" Cordelia said sitting on a crystal "You've got company" the dai li agent said tossing someone into the hole "Zuko!" Katara said angrily "Why did they throw you in here? Oh, wait, let me guess. It's a trap. So that when Aang shows up to help us, you can finally have him in your little Fire Nation clutches!" Katara said before Cordelia closed her mouth shut.
"Leave me!" Katara said dragging her attention back to Zuko "You're a terrible person! You know that? Always following us! Hunting the Avatar! Trying to capture the world's last hope for peace! But what do you care? You're the Fire Lord's son. Spreading war and violence and hatred is in your blood!" She said angrily "that is enough Katara, you can't judge a person by the actions of their parents" Cordelia warned.
"You saw his crazy sister! Tell me he isn't the same by these genes!" Katara said "he served me really good tea and gave me this hair accessory the other day, I'm sure he's a good person" Cordelia said defending him "You have no idea what this war has put me through! Me personally! The Fire Nation took my mother away from me" Katara said sitting down and holding her necklace "you forget the fire Nation also took 2 people important to me, so please don't act like your the only one that has suffered by the fire nation" Cordelia said turning away from the two as tears streamed down her face.
"I'm sorry. That's something we have in common." Zuko said turning around to the two "thanks" Cordelia asked wiping her tears away "I'm sorry I yelled at you before" Katara apologized "It doesn't matter" Zuko said "It's just that for so long now, whenever I would imagine the face of the enemy, it was your face" Katara said as Zuko touched his face "that was rude" Cordelia said.
"No, no, that's-that's not what I mean" katara said "It's okay. I used to think this scar marked me. The mark of the banished prince, cursed to chase the Avatar forever. But lately, I've realized I'm free to determine my own destiny, even if I'll never be free of my mark" Zuko said turning away "you know what I think? I read somewhere. Never to be ashamed of a scar. It simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you. I also think you look good with or without the scar" Cordelia said touching his right eye.
"Ah, I'm gonna go check for a way out you guys wait here" Cordelia said nervously walking away. "I can't believe I said that, how could I be so stupid" Cordelia said smacking her head on the crystal before hearing sounds heading towards her location "it's one of the prisoners, capture her and use her as a hostage!" A dai li agent said pointing at Cordelia "really? I don't have any water to bend too" Cordelia said after being caught.
"Avatar and friend, surrender or your friend gets it" a dai li agent said holding Cordelia close with an earth hand prepared to squeeze her neck "don't hurt her!" Zuko said in an attack stance "really?" Katara said sitting up right after being tossed to a crystal "what's going on?" She asked staring at the scene "you said Zuko had a kind side right? You've been fooled" Katara said pointing at him "I told you to stop disrespecting him" Cordelia said "open your eyes, Cordelia he's trying to capture Aang" Katara said as she stared at the scene.
"...there's a reason!" Cordelia said freeing herself and running towards the water "how could you fools let her go?!" Azula shouted noticing Cordelia hair turn white and her diamond reappeared "tell me, which Zuko is the real you?" She asked creating a table of ice and shooting it at him "why does it matter to you" Zuko asked running towards "cause I defended you, like a fool nonetheless" she said creating a wave of water and washing away the Dai li agents along with him.
"Aang!" Katara shouted running to his side "is he alright? Ahh!" Cordelia said averting her eyes causing Zuko to strike her down "Cordelia!" Katara called out while holding unto Aang "you got to get out of here I'll hold them off as long as I can" Iroh said handing Cordelia to katara before taking his attention to Zuko and Azula.
"Are they going to be alright?" Sokka asked as Katara tried to heal Cordelia "Aang is going to be alright, but Cordelia...I don't know" Katara said healing the wound on her shoulder "well she is half spirit so it would be harder" Sokka said staring at cordelia motionless body "it would be nice if I could hear her laughing at my jokes" Toph said letting out a sigh "The Earth Kingdom ... has fallen" the earth king said as they rode out Ba Sing Se.
Weeks later
"Mhm~" Cordelia groaned standing up "your awake, thank God" Katara said hugging her tightly "I need some space to breathe please" Cordelia said pushing her away "sorry" Katara said as a boy walked into the room.

"I'm so glad your okay" the boy said "Cordelia this is" katara introduced before Cordelia cut her off "I know who it is, my useless good for nothing Fiancé Sota" Cordelia said laying on the bed "useless is a bit far fetched" Sota said laughing nervously "no it's not, I'm right" Cordelia said grabbing her shoulder "you might have a scar" Katara said changing the subject "I can heal it myself, anyways how's Aang?" She asked "he's still asleep but he's doing well, Toph is alright too" Katara said "that's good, so when do you plan on explaining why we're on a fire nation ship" Cordelia asked as Katara began explaining.
Later
"After what happened at Ba Sing Se, we had to get you to safety. We flew back to Chameleon Bay where we found my father and the other Water Tribe men. The Earth King decided he wanted to travel the world in disguise, so he set off alone. Well, not completely alone. Soon, the bay was overrun by Fire Nation ships. Rather than fight them all, we captured a single ship and made it our disguise. Since then we've been traveling west. We crossed through the Serpent's Pass a few days ago. We've seen a few Fire Nation ships, but none have bothered us" Sokka explained over a meal.
"So what now?" Aang asked "We've been working on a modified version of the invasion plan" Hakoda said "It's Sokka's invasion plan" Katara corrected sharply "Yes, Sokka's plan. We won't be able to mount a massive invasion without the Earth King's armies, but the solar eclipse will still leave the Fire Nation vulnerable" Hakoda said "So we're planning a smaller invasion. Just a ragtag team of our friends and allies from around the Earth Kingdom. We already ran into Pipsqueak and The Duke" Sokka said pointing at the two.
"And the best part is, the eclipse isn't even our biggest advantage! We have a secret... You!" Sokka said excitedly "me?" Aang said confused "Yep, the whole world thinks you're dead! Isn't that great?" Sokka asked raising his fists up before Cordelia smacked him "try to put less enthusiasm in that statement your freaking him out" Cordelia said pinching his cheek.
"The world thinks I'm dead? How is that good news? That's terrible!" Aang said in distress "look what you've done" Cordelia said "No, it's great! It means the Fire Nation won't be hunting us anymore! And even better, they won't be expecting you on the Day of Black Sun!" Sokka said "No, no, no, no, no. You have no idea. This is so messed up!" Aang said scratching his head.
