"Nice work John B." JJ said. "You know these things lock from the outside, right?" JJ asked.
"Okay, I was just trying to get us on the boat, JJ." John B sighed. "I wasn't thinking that far ahead."
"Right. And now we're stuck in here like rats in this death cage!" JJ said.
"It's hot." Kie said taking off her jacket.
"JJ, you're not helping." Pope said.
"You don't have much room to talk. You said you had a plan, but what happened to thinking ahead?" JJ asked. "And the fact that you two agreed, just shows how little you actually thought about it."
"I find your lack self-knowledge disturbing." Pope told him.
"Last I checked, you literally shot an oil container with the gat." JJ told him. "And if i'm not mistaken, again, you praised him." He said looking at me.
"Hey, you chose to be here, alright? Don't start blaming us now." I told JJ.
"Yeah, because I wasn't gonna let you hop on your death alone!" He told me.
"If you're complaining so much, then maybe you should've!" I said back.
"Oh my God, guys. Shut up!" Kie told us. "Pull it together."
I simply rolled my eyes, sighed, and leaned against the furthest wall away from JJ.
"Okay." JJ sighed.
"Let's try to find a way out of here." Pope said.
As the group stayed in silence, JJ walked up to me.
"You mad?" He asked me.
"What do you think?" I asked sarcastically.
"Look, I'm sorry... alright? I overreacted, and I shouldn't have. We're all in this together, and I shouldn't have started throwing blames, so I'm sorry." He said looking at me. "Forgive me?"
I looked away from him for a few seconds, as if I was thinking about it.
"Yes." I said smiling as he hugged me.
"I hate fighting with you." He told me.
"Me too." I agreed.
After we pulled away, JJ and I sat down, as I had my hand on the back of his head, playing with his hair. It calmed him down, and I loved doing it, so win-win.
"Hey, Pope. How do you kill a snake?" JJ asked him.
"You go for the head." Pope said lazily.
"Exactly, but the head, in this instance, is the bridge." JJ said, confusing us. "To take the bridge, we need maximum firepower. And I happen to know that there's an armory on this ship in case of pirate attacks."
"Pirate attacks." Kie repeated.
"Yes, if we take that-I'm not just talking pistols." JJ said.
"You lost me." Kie said.
"I'm talking knives." JJ clarified.
"Killing everybody here is not a plan." I told him.
"Mary..." He tried. "Guys, I'm serious. If we get to the armory, I'm talking AKs, pistols, knives, double-barrels-"
"JJ!" John B stopped him. "We gotta get out of here. We can't do anything if we're still stuck in here."
"If I just get enough pressure, I can Spartan kick that thing open." JJ said.
"Right." I nodded sarcastically .
"You don't believe me?" He asked me.
"Not really." I told him.
