(The Shohoku Starting 5 found themselves talking about their girlfriends after their practice)

The dusk was chasing what's left of the afternoon light away. Today we'll find our Shohoku friends talk about certain things in life, and, most specially, their girlfriends. They rarely share stuff about their relationships to each other since all of them keep it lowkey (they enjoy it that way, especially Rukawa, who's the most mysterious and private one of them all).
"YAY!!" Sakuragi huffed, jumping up and down, "practice is finally over, NYAHAHAHA!" He swayed side-to-side as he sing-sang.
Sakuragi's teammates found it unusual that their redhead teammate was happier than usual, but surely enough they were happy for the guy since they just have this *vague* idea why he was elated.
Sakuragi has been mouthing all day that he's going to spend the rest of his evening with his girlfriend, (name).
"I'm so excited to see (name)-chan!! She's going to tutor me tonight for my make-up exam tomorrow, nyehehehehe."
"Good for you, douahou." Rukawa said in monotone. Rukawa wanted to say something good to his teammate but he's not so good with words so it came out as an insult.
"Shut up, you fox!! You're just jealous because your girlfriend rarely spends time with you!!"
"Shut up, you douahou. Don't bring her into this. I don't bug her around since she's busy. Atleast I don't need help from someone just so I can pass an exam." Rukawa tried not to roll his eyes. Heck, he even tried to control throwing his fists.
Rukawa didn't want anyone to badmouth his dearly beloved girlfriend, after all. Additionally, Rukawa finds himself in a position where he only speaks so much when his girlfriend is involved.
"Alright, alright. Enough with the bantering. You all need to cool down since we still have to polish the balls later on." Ayako shouted, her hands cupped around her mouth to amplify her voice.
"Aya-chan~~~" Ryota blushed.
Ryota always feels lovey-dovey whenever he hears Ayako's voice. Even though the two already found themselves committed to each other, Ryota just loves Ayako so much that everytime he sees her it's like walking in a dream.
"Oi, Gori. Look at Ryo-chin." Sakuragi was nudging their captain's shoulder, saying teasingly, "His eyes are now heart-shaped. There's even hearts floating in the air."
Akagi just crossed his arms while he heaved a long sigh.
Unbeknownst to all of them though, Mitsui was at the other side of the court, smiling ear to ear as he accepts a plastic bag from a girl. Mitsui had to lean down a bit to hear what the girl was saying.
See, Mitsui's girlfriend, (name), has a habit to come visit him before she goes home. Mitsui easily picked up on this habit, and, everyday, at the exact time, Mitsui will wait at one of the doors at the side of the gym to meet (name). The two will talk for a while and Mitsui just can't stop smiling while he listens to her stories that his eyes would twinkle like diamonds.
"Woow, thank you for giving me and the team Pocari, (name)!!" Mitsui said.
"Anything for my Mit-chan." (name) smiled.
At that exact moment Mitsui felt like he's about to explode due to (name)'s cuteness.
"Hey, Mit-chan. Before I go." (Name) opened her arms wide as if waiting for Mitsui's embrace.
Mitsui hesitated, at first. Don't get him wrong though, he's so down to hug (name) at that moment but he thought, "Hey, I'm sweaty from practice, she might not like it."
"Aww, c'mon. Mit-chan. It's okay if you're sweaty." (Name) seemed to read his mind, then, she changed her tone to a teasingly sultry one, "This isn't the only time we found ourselves in a sweaty situation."
Rukawa, who was just EXACTLY passing by at the time (name) said that, almost choked on the water bottle he's drinking from.
Damn, Rukawa exactly knew what (name) meant. Mitsui got flashbacks after hearing that and he's quite embarrassed. He's red all over.
"Shit, Rukawa must think that I'm always getting laid."
This is what was going around Mitsui's mind. Trust me, well enough, Rukawa doesn't give a shit.
Mitsui flashed Rukawa an irked glare, mentally shooing him away. Rukawa rolled his eyes and went somewhere else.
After hugging (name), Mitsui kissed her forehead before she went on her way.
When Mitsui turned around, the plastic bag rustling, his teammates were lined up and chatting amongst themselves, as if pretending that they didn't see Mitsui's affectionate demeanor just a while ago.
"(Name) brought us Pocari."
Mitsui said, stopping the chatter. He lifted the plastic bag up so he could let his teammates see that it was really filled with about 10 Pocari bottles.
"Nice!" Ryota was like. All of the Shohoku members got their own Pocari drinks, except for one.
Rukawa was missing.
"Oi. Mitchi. Where the hell is Rukawa?"
"I don't know. Why are you asking me?"
Interestingly though, our group heard their ace's voice coming from outside the gym, just by the door. They slowly tiptoed until they're within earshot. It was rather uneventful... for Sakuragi, that is.
The rest of the Shohoku team found themselves enthralled upon hearing Rukawa speak so much. Heck, it even came to a point where their hearts fluttered from what he's saying to his girlfriend.
"It's okay, (name). I don't want to bother you. I know you're busy." Rukawa was like. (Name) replied with a giggle and it made Rukawa smile. Rukawa just LOVES listening to his girlfriend's voice.
Rukawa's back was facing the Shohoku gang, so it seemed like a waste that they didn't get the chance to see how beautiful Rukawa's face is when he smiles. (Name) is the only one who can indulge on that pleasure and Rukawa wants to keep it that way.
The last thing that Rukawa said made the rest of the Shohoku gang blush.
LITERALLY.
"(Name). I love you." Rukawa sai before ending the call.
Upon turning to return to the gym, the door was blocked by our Shohoku gang.
Rukawa didn't wait for a moment to allow them to speak,
"What? You idiots don't say I love you to your girlfriends?"
