"Where are you taking me, Toru?" You said, huffing, as the two of you climbed a flight of cobblestone steps.

"It'll be a surprise (name), trust me."  Hanagata smiled in response.

It was a warm summer night and the cool breeze made way for the clouds to move and show the sky and the silver moon in all its glory. The stars were twinkling and you noticed a few constellations you were familiar with.

See, Hanagata knows you LOVE stargazing. So, he thought, what better way to celebrate your birthday? With a picnic of course! He planned everything days ahead of your special day and he wanted everything to be perfect.

He's just oblivious to the fact that making you walk flights of stairs is stressing you out.

"We're almost on top of the hill, (name). We can see the entire city plus the sky--" He was cut midsentence when he heard you panting. You were catching your breath. You've never tried climbing up a hill before.

Suddenly, you saw Hanagata crouch in front of you.

"Come. I'll carry you."

"Wh-Wh- Will you be able to carry me though? You're also carrying a picnic basket!"

He chuckled, trying to ease your worries, still coaxing you to let him piggyback you so you won't feel tired.

"Well, (name), .. While I carry you, you can hold the picnic basket for me!"

Sounds like a plan.

Hanagata set up the blanket on the grass so the two of you can lay down.

You felt his love wash over you as you told him stories about the constellations while he was listening intently.

The two of you have never been this close before: his arm was wrapped around you and you could feel his warmth. You hand was on top of his chest so you could feel his heartbeat.

Before the night ended though, he sang you a birthday song!

"Happy Birthday, (name.) I hope you enjoyed this night I prepared for you."
