You awoke in your bed once again, the morning sun just slightly peeking through the curtains. You sat up and stretched, yawning in the process. There was a faint sweet scent in the air. Attracted to it, you got up and quickly made your way out into the front room of the apartment. It was there where you saw 4 cooking

Curiously, you went up to her, "what are you making?" You peeked at the pan from behind her

"Pancakes! They'll be done soon, so just sit tight."

"It smells yummy~" you hummed,

"Why thank you!" She said happily "you can wait at the table if you want, I'm only making a couple more"

"Ok!" You strolled over to the small table just off the kitchen and took a seat at one of the two chairs. 4 had a pretty comfy setup, the table was right by a small window so whoever sat at it could look out and look upon the city. You enjoyed watching the cars go by, or the occasional person walking on the opposite side the street

4 soon joined you at the table. She put two plates out on the surface, each with two scrumdiddlyumptious pancakes on them. "Woah" your eyes sparkled "thanks for breakfast!" You thanked her and slightly bowed your head. "No problem! I made some extras so you can have as much as you'd like!" She smiled again

The two of you began eating. There was an occasional conversation between bites. But other than that it was silent, excluding the constant whirring of 4's fan

Once done, you both cleaned up your plates and went over to the couch to sit. You two had the day off, so you figured you'd just relax. The two of you just sat in silence for a while, letting thought pass and enjoying each other's presence.

4's phone buzzed with a message, she picked it up and read it to herself. "Another mission?" You sat up and looked at her. "No, it's 3. He wants us to meet him at the canyon. I don't know what he wants, but I guess we'll find out soon enough." She sat up and returned your gaze. "Let's get ready!" She headed to her room as you did to yours. The two of you soon regrouped in the living room after dressing. "Ready to head out?" You nodded and hummed in response. Without further ado, the two of you set off, heading through the city and into the pipeline connected to the canyon

Upon arriving, you both spotted 3 leaning against a large rock, looking uneasy. 4 noticed this and began walking over to him, motioning for you to follow her. "Heya! Is something bothering you?" 3 looked up at her anxiously, a slight green tint to his cheeks. "Um... yes actually..." he messed with his shirt's collar

"what's up?"

"It's about 8. You see..." he cleared his throat "I uh.. I kinda maybe... like him.. a lot" he put a hand up to his cheek to try and cover his rapidly spreading blush. 4's eyes widened, "no way, I was right?!" She hopped in place and pointed at the boy "I knew it!" She giggled. The action only embarrassed him more. "Can you please take this seriously?!" He sighed, "look, I want your help... I was wondering if you and [Y/N] could possibly.. help me out?" he covered his face even more, anxiously looking up at 4. 4 looked over to you, waiting for your answer. You gave her a slight nod "I'm not sure how, but I'll help" you smiled at 3. 4 turned back to him "Then it's settled! Operation 'agent 24' is a go!"

"24?" 3 looked at her in confusion

4 shot finger guns at him and spoke "quick maths!"

"... whatever. Thanks for agreeing by the way" He seemed slightly relieved that the two of you actually agreed. "So, what're we thinking?" 4 asked

"I was planning on just asking him to hang out somewhere in the city, I just need some pointers... I'm not exactly sure what to say..."

"There really isn't a right or wrong. Just be you! And when the moment feels right, just start talking, everything else will handle itself from there." She went on. One of her suggestions in particular, seemed to wedge its way into your head. 3 looked over to you, wanting you to add onto 4's statements

"I agree with 4" you nodded slightly and smiled

"Don't sweat it! You'll be fine" she reassured him

"Now, what are you waiting for? Go get yourself ready!" She said excitedly. "Oh. Right!" 3 nodded, thanked her again, and ran off, presumably going back home

"[Y/N]! Let's get to work!" She cheerfully shouted and put her hands on her hips. And with that, the two of you also headed back to the city.

You found a small picnic table at the local park and got to work, decorating the area. Nothing fancy, just a nice little place

Soon enough, the boys in question arrived. Both you and 4 stayed nearby, and in very obvious disguises, to make sure nothing went wrong. The date went on and looked to be going well, you quietly watched the agents interact, the advice from earlier continued to repeat itself in your brain

"Just be you!"

You'd hardly realized you'd been zoning out. 3 had most likely confessed by now, since both him and 8 were smiling like idiots and laughing to themselves. Watching them caused you to feel a sort of longing for what they had, though you had no clue why

Once the picnic date had ended, 3, just before leaving with his new boyfriend, turned back to 4 and mouthed out a "thank you" to her

Surprised by 3's thanking, 4 softly chuckled and muttered "well then, that's not something you see everyday..." she then turned back to you and noticed your daze, "hey.. you good?" She poked your shoulder a little. "Y-yeah..." you watched the other agents for a little longer before turning back to 4

"Ready to go home now?" she smiled at you and motioned behind her, not even caring if she was pointing in the right direction. After giving a little nod, you began to walk with 4, back to her apartment
