Controlling power

Darkness was sleeping peacefully with his sister in their dorm when Darkness heard a knocking on their dorm. Darkness got out of bed to see who was knocking.

"Who's there?" Darkness said.

"Darkness can I talk to you?" a dragon asked.

"Sure." Darkness said.

Darkness looked out to see it was Ravenmind knocking on their dorm.

"Ravenmind? What do you want at this hour?" Darkness said.

"It's about earlier today. Icecap told me that you defended your sister from a Sandwing using your animus magic. Is this true?" Ravenmind asked.

Darkness looked over at his sister and looked back at Ravenmind.

"Yes, it is. I am indeed an animus." Darkness said.

"How long have you known you were an animus?" Ravenmind said.

"About a year. I've only done about 5 enchantments. I haven't really used my animus magic that much." Darkness said.

"Good. That means your soul is still intact." Ravenmind said.

Ravenmind showed Darkness that he had a scroll in one of his talons. The scroll's title read, "Animus magic and its downsides." Ravenmind tossed Darkness the scroll. Darkness quickly caught it.

"Animus magic and its downsides. What's this for?" Darkness asked Ravenmind.

"It'll teach you everything about being an animus and how to potentially control your powers. I want you to read it. And feel free to come to me if you have any questions." Ravenmind said.

"Do you have any scrolls on controlling a Nightwing's mind-reading and prophecy-telling powers?" Darkness asked.

Ravenmind looked back at Darkness.

"There are. Why do you ask?" Ravenmind said.

"I and my sister were born under two full moons." Darkness said.

Ravenmind looked at Darkness with more questions. Ravenmind wanted to know everything about Darkness and his sister Lightbringer.

"I see. Well, you can find them in the library tomorrow. But you should read the scroll now. Goodnight Darkness." Ravenmind said.

Ravenmind left Darkness's dorm and left to go to sleep. Darkness opened the scroll and began reading it. Darkness read the scroll all night long till it was the next day. Lightbringer woke up to see her brother reading a scroll.

"What are you reading Darkness?" Lightbringer said.

Darkness looked over at her. He closed the scroll and held it up so that Lightbringer could see it.

"Animus magic and its downsides. Ravenmind came in last night and gave it to read." Darkness said.

"Does it say anything interesting in it?" Lightbringer said.

She was interested in what the scroll said about being an animus.

"It talks about how to properly use animus magic. It also talks about this animus Nightwing called "Ragnarök" that lived 90,000 years ago. Ragnarök was born under 3 full moons and he knows everything about being an animus because the Nightwings made him enchant stuff every single day. It also says that he had a friend called Antarctica who was a female Icewing. It says that Ragnarök disappeared when he was 18 years old and the Nightwing could never find him. Then his best friend Antarctica disappeared when she was about 24 years old." Darkness said.

"So, you're basically saying that this Nightwing Ragnarök knows everything about being an animus and that he was born under 3 full moons making his birth very rare. Correct?" Lightbringer asked.
