School start

Adelia woke up by something that hit the floor, she put her hand on her heart and tried to breath normal. "Jesus! Is there a robber i the house?!" she saw the clock on the wall, "this early?". She walked down the stairs and slowly opened the door to the room which was not done, "what the hell is doing in there?". When she opened the door she saw Devan picking up the steps, "sorry if I woke you up, I dropped the steps"

"What are you doing?"

"I am finishing the room, like I promised"

"Ah, but why now when you should have been done yesterday?"

"I know, but my friend had some problems"

"Alright then"

"You are not angry?"

"The important thing is that you did it" they didn't talk more when Lilith entered the room, "good morning!"

"Good morning sweetheart, are you ready?"

"Yeah..." Devan looked confused at Adelia, "Ready for what?"

"Her first day at school of course", Devan looked at Lilith "ah, that sucks"

"No it does not, it is very important that she goes to school. And it very instructive!" . When they finished their breakfast, they took a taxi and drove to a school which was in the neighborhood. Adelia talked to the teacher about Lilith,while Devan and Lilith looked around the school. "It is big" Devan started, "yeah, did you go to school?"

"Well first I did, but then I jumped off in the eight grade"

"Why?"

"Because I was stupid and and shitty, and nobody likes that kind of people"

"But you are not stupid, you are smart. And I like you"

"Thanks"

"But why where you shitty?"

"Because I was naive, and I took everything they said critical"

"Ah, OK. But are you coming to my birthday?"

"When is that?"

"About two days"

"Well I can't escape"

"So you are coming?"

"Yeah, why not"

"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you! You are the best godfather ever! I love you!" She hugged Devan, and when Adelia came back she said that Devan would come to her birthday. "That is wonderful sweetie, and guess what? You are gonna go to school this winter!"

"Yay!". When the taxi came to take them home Llith was the first to jump in, Adelia stop Devan and looked in his eyes. "Listen here, don't you dare to miss her birthday. You might got away with painting the wall, but this time you promised to her and she would be so sad if didn't come"

"Why do you think I would skip it?"

"It is not so hard to see trough you, I can actually read you like a book, so am I clear?"

"Yes Mrs Old!"

"Get in the car!" Devan almost jumped in the car so Adelia wouldn't scream at him anymore. When they arrived home he got a call from Mark, "hey dude, what is it?"

"Devan I got him, I know where he is!"

"Who Mark?"

"That guy who killed your father!"

"Where is that asshole!"

"He is gonna be in a building in two days, we are gonna surprise him!"

"Good job Mark, see you then!" When Devan turned off his phone he remembered that Lilith's birthday is about two days, "I have time..." he said and looking at Lilith's room.
