"OK, I can help you with that!"

"Good, but do it fast!" Devan waited for the miracle that Mark was about to do, suddenly the police car's door opened. Devan jumped put and ran as fast as he could, when the police officer saw that Devan was gone he rang and said that he needed help, a murderer was on the tracks. "Hey Adelia, do you think that Devan is on his way?"

"I don't know sweetheart, I don't know..." She said and looked at her watch. Devan's face was red and couldn't breathe, but he had to run for his and Lilith's sake. He saw that police cars and even FBI followed him, so he ran trough a smaller street where cars couldn't fit "it maintains them a little bit!" he said to himself. He saw that he was just some meters from home, but also heard the cars after him. He rushed to the backyard of the house and saw Lilith and Adelia standing there, "What is it Devan?" Adelia asked. Devan didn't get a chance to answer, when their backyard was full of FBI 's agents with big guns and uniforms. "Put your hands on you head!" one of the agent said and pointed the gun at Devan, "What is happening!" Adelia screamed but no one answered. Devan slowly put his hands on his head, "now get in the car, slowly" another agent said. "Can I just do one more thing before I go to jail forever?"

"No! Get in the car!"

"Wait, let him do what he wants", a officer said. Devan remembered him from last time he saw him when the two taxi's crashed, "Thank you" he said. Devan turned to Lilith and sat on one knee, he showed with his hand that she would come closer and so she did. "I am sorry for the lamest birthday party ever"

"No, I am happy because you are here"

"I have something for you, here" Devan took a necklace out fro his pocket, "turn around". Lilith turned and Devan put the necklace on her neck, she the gave him a hug, "Thanks, it is beautiful. Where did you get it?"

"Do I really have to answer that question?"

"No" Lilith said with a smile. Devan stood up and was just about to go in to the car, when he wanted a last hug from Lilith. When the agent saw that he thought he was gonna take her and shoot him in the head, Devan fell on his knees and then on his stomach. Lilith turned and screamed of fear and ran to Adelia that got tears in her eyes. Everyone stood in shock, except Lilith who was crying and hugging Adelia. The police arrested the agent and took Devan's body the hospital. Days later it was his funeral, Lilith, Adelia, Mark and even the officer came. Lilith put a flower on the gravestone, they engraved "A fantastic godfather, and a good friend".

"He never saw me start school, I miss him"

"I know, we all do" Adelia responded to Lilith who was crying and holding her hand very hard, "I am never gonna forget him..."

Now have you read the story, the story of a man that started as a criminal but died as a godfather. Even if he had his revenge, he died sad. Even if he thought that he didn't had anybody that loved him, he actually had. Where I want to get with this story? Well there is where you come in my friend, what did you learn of this? I wanted to write this so I could show you that even if you have a different way to see the world or to show love, you are loved by someone whatever you do.
