"Hold on." I did it!

"Let's talk about the contract, shall we?" He spoke.

Did I even make the right choice?
It's not like I do have the power to choose!

"So..."

"...You want me to act as your fiance?" Hindi ba obvious?

"Yes."

"Why?" He asked stupidly.

"Do you need a reason?" I raised a question.

"Depending on the situation." He answered.

"Is it necessary?" I asked,

"Yes, it does." ugh...

"Oh then..." I trailed off.

But I can't tell him the truth...

"I'm actually from the future, and this world is just fiction in a book that I've once read. And the fact that your half-brother wants to kill me."

"That's why I know where and how the passages of the scenes go through."

Nah! That won't work.

"I don't have a lingering feeling for your brother anymore." I sighed,

"That's why I need a reasonable excuse to break off the engagement as soon as possible." I continued.

He was silent the whole time. The void sound of the room didn't help at all.

He nodded.

"You don't need to care about that," I spoke,

"Since, it's not an important issue for you." I continued.

He nodded convincingly, he smiled with his dimples-

Ehem. Focus Alyah!

"You can just think of me as a persistent stalker or whatsoever,"
I said in a calm tone.

"All I need is a business partner who will help me trick other people for a short while." I stared at him.

"As long as you cooperate with me, I won't utter a word about it."

"You will have nothing to worry regarding about that matter." He looks convinced.

He fixed his hair with a nod.

"Just 5 months."

"Act as my fiance for 5 months," I stated.

"After that, I will vanish from your life." I look up at him, staring at him with a serious face.

He stared at me, thinking.
I smiled sweetly.

"Completely vanish."

"So hurry up, and sign it." I even made a hand gesture, pointing at the contract.

He smiled and spoke, "Alright." His smile was like a sudden beam of sunlight illuminating the darkest corners of this room.

He lift the pen and started to sign the papers.

It's done? That's all?

"However," He glanced at me,

"While I will cooperate with you in this ridiculous plan of yours." Rude.
