Something has been going on behind Bruce's back during the second week. Kal had left his area multiple times very early in the morning before he arrived home from being Batman.

Bruce didn't want to pry as Kal wasn't forbidden from leaving his area. In fact, he would be astounded if Kal left his normal three rooms. What concerned him was him keeping it a secret from him.

Bruce decided to leave some bugs in the mansion to see what was going on. If he knew what was going on, it would put him at ease.

Batman was on top of a building patrolling when he got his first sound. It was Alfred cooking early breakfast for Bruce, for when he gets home in an hour.

After fifteen minutes of clanking and him muttering to himself, Alfred said, "Ah, good morning, Master Kal. How are you?"

"I'm alright, Alfred," Kal's voice said. "Can I ask you a favor again?"

"New sheets?" Alfred was expecting this.

"Yes, please."

Alfred asked, "Would you like me to get your current ones and clean them, this time?"

"No," Kal said. "I can take care of them like last time."

"Are you sure? You are our guest, you know. I feel guilty for you to wash your laundry so early in the morning."

"It's no big deal," Kal said with a nervous chuckle.

Alfred sighed, "We all make mistakes sometimes. It's all right."

Kal responded with an "Um..." He was shocked that Alfred knew. He wet his bed.

There was a moment of silence.

Then Alfred broke the silence saying, "Master Kal, it's okay. Even Master Bruce had those as a kid."

"He was a kid with trauma," Kal excused.

"And you are a man with trauma," he said in a soft tone. "It's okay."

"But I'm already disgusting enough-."

"You will say no such thing about yourself!"

"But you don't know everything."

"And I don't have to," Alfred consoled. "You are a great young man who had always tried his best. You saved many lives and always saw the best in everyone you met. You are not disgusting in the slightest."

More silence.

Then Kal said, "Thanks, Alfred."

"Now let me get you those clean sheets," Alfred said. "Oh right, I was going to ask, would you like me to get you some adult diapers? It could come in handy, and you wouldn't have to change your sheets so often."

And that was when Bruce turned off his listening device. That was none of his business. What made him a bit happy was the fact that Kal was at least talking to someone else.

The down side: he wets the bed.

But Alfred was taking care of it, so that was one thing he didn't have to worry about. The only thing worrying him was this triggered by something.

When Bruce arrived home, he found Kal in his bedroom. He wondered if he said yes to those adult diapers.

Kal didn't recognize that he came in.

"Good morning, Kal."

It took a full ten seconds for him to look up from his book. "Good morning, B." He gave him a smile. It was something about that smile that says that he was relieved about something.
