The past week had been going well for once, which is a record for me. We usually wake up to someone standing outside our house, when I'm here there's nothing to wake up too. I am confided to the house and the school most times. I met a few new people at the school who give me side eyes, not many of them approach me except for two, Cory and tally. Tally was pretty forward with her greeting. Though she thought I was a student that was starting here at first, when in reality I'm just my dads grader. Handing me all of their papers once there done doing quizzes or test. Of course he didn't let me do it all, he would help once the classes were over. I was just giving him a head start. I had done this when I was in high school too. I didn't mind it. It gave me something to do, especially since I knew most about it. Rehearing the stories my mother told me as a kid, watching other people learn it in a different ways than I did. Of course not all stories are great ones. Some were pretty dark and cringy. But I enjoyed them.

Today while i graded papers, he was talking about the over throwing of Cronus. It was a classic if I do say so. But when he asked what it was that caused Cronus to throw up his children everyone looked around for the answer. My dad sat against his table letting out a heavy sigh. "Anyone know, anyone at all?" He questioned. Though no one said a thing, my dad look at me as I highlighted and marked up papers. "Zeus mixed mustard in the wine." I said, it didn't affect my work as I went on. A few kids smacked their lips while a few others groan and lean back in there chairs. They weren't very bright, this batch of kids, the last class everyone knew what it was. It was obvious none of them cared for this class, it was nessacary to learn these things, so the ones who did descend from a god knew where and who there power comes from.

My dad always told me knowing your god was a better way to control your power. Though to me he was human, he couldn't say much for himself. Because he didn't have to worry about having power. Tally sat in the front seat next to Cory an scrunched her nose at me and I stick my tongue out at her making her smile. The thing about tally was she descended from Aphrodite, so not only was she beautiful with long limber legs and great curly brunette hair, she also had beautiful mocha skin and freckles that covered her nose and cheeks. She was beyond the beauty standard. Still besides her beauty she was sweet and goofy, making her perfect in just about every way. Cory on the other hand descended from zeus, he was pretty cocky but kind in a certain way. Then again he has this mindset that since he descends from the biggest god that he is one. But I wasn't too sure he met Kai yet. Between him and Kai Cory was slightly shorter, with bright blond scraggly hair and hazel eyes, a pointed nose and lips that were the color of peaches. Which was completely opposite of Kai.

It made sense considering they weren't no where near eachothers level. Kai reaching the highest in his class, though being suspended most years for conflicts. They decided to let him off the hook from school early since he was what they called a maniac to the school. Still his mother was the owner of the grounds, considering it was passed down by her family when it came time, along with the house. So they couldn't just get rid of him that easily, but the principle that worked here those years ago had a passion for disliking Kai. Making Tobias the star child, yet it didn't help that she was also Adrian's mother... raven put a stop to it after they took him out of school early.

Not that he cared any... raven took her spot so she could give every troubled child a chance.
I hear the door to the classroom open and see Kai coming in. Speaking of the devil himself, a few eyes wondered while a couple stuck to him like glue. A few girls seemed to go Gaga over him while most people looked terrified of him. "One sec Kai." My dad tells him. Having Kai sit next to me, he gives me a smirk. "Geez if your not feared your drooled over." I said with a giggle. He shrugs. "Can't help it, but I'm not here for them anyway." He says. I shake my head resuming my work, coming close to a stop. "What are you doing this weekend?" He asked me.
