I did what I did so she could live her life the way she wanted. I didn't think she would have let me get as far as I did to begin with but it was for the best. I didn't want to be in the way of her and Nick and I couldn't ever get the words out if I wanted too. Telling her I love her would only complicate things for her. So lying was my best option, though I'm sure she read right through me, not to mention the way she looked at me made my chest cave in when I lied to her. The look on her face, it didn't seem like that was what she wanted to hear. She didn't even give me a second glance when she left earlier. So I don't think she'll be needing me for a bit.
I went with hades to follow another clue. I pull up to the location where hades stand off near a wear house. I get out of the car, taking a deep breath not really wanting to be here but also it having much of another choice. "Hello brother." He smiled, I hated that he Calls me that, just because we looked alike didn't mean I wanted to be so closely acquainted with him. "Let's get this over with." I said. He gestured inside and I follow along behind him. Entering an empty doorway. It was all concrete, the walls, floors, even the stairs that lead down into the ground. Hades making his way down the steps into the dark. Having us ignite our hands in fire, his flame burned an sunset orange with his veins coursing a red glow in the dark, while my flame was blue, with a Florescent blue glow cording up my arms.
Walking away from the light of the stairway, hades turns to me, shushing me to be quiet. We reach near the end of the hall, he draws a staff symbol on the wall. Just for the concrete wall to crumble, he walks through, pulling me in quickly. The wall regenerating just as I exit the threshold. "Got to be quicker than that, Kaiser." He tells me. "Yeah, no shit." I told him not realizing I could have been crushed. I followed along behind him. Seeing a light near the end of a tunnel, we turn the corner ducking behind a wall, hearing large footsteps stomp along the ground. Nearly shaking it, glancing at hades he smirked peaking around the corner. "Hide yourself." He says going invisible, I do as I'm told, only I didn't know which way he went, I could only assume it was towards danger. I could hear his footsteps in front of me, as we turn the corner into a large cave. It wasn't dark, though it wasn't the brightest either. It was messy and with the scent of death lingering about the room. I could feel the footsteps coming back, lightly shaking the ground as they walked. I dipped around the corner, seeing a cyclops walking in. Honestly, I had though it would have been bigger. But it was only about 10 feet tall, he stops in his tracks. Sniffing around, nearing next to me. I shove myself into a corner, keeping my breathing steady, in fear he might hear me.
His face close to mine, the big one eye looks directly at me. Though I wasn't visible to the eye, he could still smell me. "You don't smell human." His voice a low grumble, and his breath reeked of death.
Reaching in at me, I was sent into a panic, kicking him in the eye. He exclaimed in pain, hearing him roar. I dart out from the corner, revealing myself as did hades. Appearing in the other side of the cave, he charges on top of the cyclops. Wrapping his arms around his neck, squeezing tightly as the cyclops fights to get him off. Shoving his back against the wall, smashing hades between him and the cave. He groans, still keeping his grasp on the beast. I speed towards them grabbing a large 2 x 4 in the pile of garbage he had lying about, I leap up swinging as hard as I could, knocking him in the head. He drops to his knees, though he still kept going. The roaring of his rage echoed throughout the cave. He grabs hold of me, putting pressure against my body, I feel my ribs crack, piercing my lung. Gasping for air, I choked on my own blood, gargling for a breath. I raise my body temperature, making it unbearable to hold onto me. He screams from the searing pain of my heat, dropping me. swinging his head around flinging hades next to me.I grasp at my broken rib cage, trying to breath through a popped lung. Spitting up a constant flow of blood. "Fix yourself, I got this." He says getting up. He pops his shoulder back into place from when he was smashed against the wall. Then leaps up at the cyclops, smashing his fist to his face. A strong force sent the cyclops sliding back.
I grab at the bottom of my rib where it was broken and pull, popping it back into place. I gasp. "Gah!" The sound echoed from my mouth. I was able to breath again, though it would take me about an hour to heal from it. The cyclops was slamming hades back and forth against the ground, making me act fast I charge up at him sending my feet flying first to his face. He drops hades and I climb on top of him, ready to smash his head in.
