I felt like I was in trouble, but making her feel crazy was the best I could do before even thinking about admiting I love her. Though was it really love? I never really knew what that felt or looked like, I mean my mother says it to me but I only reply with "you too." I don't ever use the word, because it felt over used in the family. I put her out of my mind for a moment and call hades back figuring he was urgent. He sounded a bit off when he called. Only when the phone rings he doesn't answer, calling him a couple times more nothing was coming up. I scoffed knowing the idiot had gotten himself into something he can't get out of.
I race my way down the highway making a couple of quick turns, my wheels squealing as I pull up to the hotel he was staying at. I come to a quick stop and leap from my car I dart into the building slowing down a bit to pass the front desk as casually as I could before reaching the steps and darting and up to his room hearing a commotion within. I knocked, but the noise got louder. I try opening the door, but it was locked. I stood back, pointing my hand towards the doorknob and blowing it off, thrashing myself inside, seeing hades being man handled by a hunters. Both were beaten pretty badly. "Bout time you showed up, brother." Hades says with a bloody smile. I scoffed, turning my eyes to god mode, i go invisible. Tracing my way inside. "Where'd he go." One of the hunters wondered. "Find him." The other said as he continued fighting with hades, grunting with each hit. I grab hold of one of the hunters dragging him to the balcony of the hotel. I flip him over the edge, revealing myself. He try's swinging his blade at me, full well knowing it was a prism blade.
I grab his hand and break it, having him drop the blade. He moaned in pain, seething throughout his teeth with an ungodly cry. "I think this is where you die." I said, his eyes go wide and I let him go, dropping him from the 5 floor of the building. He screams on the way down, hearing his body hit the cement sidewalk with a hard thud hearing the splat of his head breaking open upon crashing. Seeing his brains trickle out from within his skull, I turn back to hades, watching him struggle. It surprised me, considering he was supposed to be this all mighty god. Taking a beating from one measly hunter.
I make my way to him grabbing hold of the hunter, he veers at me with his blade nipping me on my arm, feeling the sting on the metal to my skin, i seethe. Shoving my hand to his throat, I squeezed it pressing my thumb to the center of his throat until I hear the snap. Watching his eyes dilated in death, I drop his limp body to the floor. "We should go." I said breathlessly, Suggesting a different location, since I dropped a human hunter from the top floor. not to mention the amount of them that were in the room that hades had left laying about. I can only imaging it won't look good for us, plus we were going to start hallucinating soon. We hear a scream from outside and knew that was the bell telling us to leave. Hades chuckled nodding quickly as we leave the room hades got the brunt of it, with cuts and bruises all over him. My forearm bled heavily with a black ink through my cut... just another day at the office.
Hades wipes at his lips, heading towards the front door we both rush back to my car. Shielding ourselves from the public eye, Quickly rushing past the dead body of the man I dropped, his eyes wide blood pooling from his mouth. Death filling the air with a metallic scent. Hopping in the car I peel off hoping we can make it to a motel or something before the hallucinations start. Funny thing about the prism metal is it'll leave a black mark once its healed though the venom it provided to our system can cause us to see things that aren't real. Pulling out my phone I call Sasha. "Hello?" Lydia answered. I hung up. Slight panic belting through my chest I didn't need her to get involved, though I felt bad for just hanging up on her with no explanation. I quickly call my mother. "Hey honey." She answered. My breathing was fast.
"Hey mama, uh I need you to meet me at the motel down the street, bring the antidote." I told her. Then hung up, feeling myself start to sweat. "Not now perse, I'm working." Hades says, swatting his hand behind him. Looks like his illusions already started. Which means I'm not far behind. I look in the rear view mirror seeing Lydia in the back seat, I turn my head seeing her sitting there giving me a smiled. "Pay attention." Hades says shoving my shoulder. Making me revert my eyes back to the road, swerving back in my lane. I glance back in the mirror, she was gone. I shake my head, making it into a parking lot of a motel. I get out quickly, telling hades to stay behind in the car so I could grab him a room.
