Tony POV
One week later.
"Tony, please," Pepper says softly, "She's okay,"
"It's been a week, Pep," I worry, "And the tracker has been moving everywhere. It can't seem to pinpoint her exact location."
Pepper hums in response.
"Jarvis, show the tracker, please,"
"Yes sir,"
The holographic screen appears, showing red dots all over Greece. It updates her location every half hour, so we can see where she's been.
"She's in Greece?"
"No, we checked everywhere the tracker has been. And every coordinate in between, she's gone, Pep. Again,"
"This isn't your fault, Tony. You know she'd have gone even if the idea had been ruled out,"
I nod, that is true, "But I could have tried harder to make her realize it was a bad idea,"
"You know she wouldn't listen,"
I hum back in response. Nothing can make me feel better. At least I told Olive that I love her this time. If I never see her again, at least I have that.
Pepper and I walk to the meeting room, "Still nothing?" Fury asks.
"No," I tell him, "Has SHEILD found anything?"
"Colson won't get here with the report for another half hour, Stark," He tells me, "And I think this is the first time you've shown up to something early."
I shrug, not bothered to tell him nothing else in my life has ever been this important. I'm sure he already knows.
We sit in silence until the whole team and Colson arrive.
"Nothing," Colson tells me.
"Anyone else finds anything?"
"I have," Vision tells me, "An image online, it was taken last night in Inverness, Scotland."
"Scotland? The tracker says it's still in Greece," I puzzle, trying to put it together. I feel like I almost have it, right out of my reach of understanding, "Show me the image."
It appears at the end of the table. It was definitely Olive.
"Who took it?"
"I found it on a Twitter page about her, since the rest of the world doesn't know she returned, they're still looking for her,"
An idea hits, "Is there any way we can make this seen by more people?"
"You could Retweet it. That will get it more media attention," Peter adds. I don't remember him coming in.
"That could work. Friday, can you do that for me?"
"On it," Friday replies.
"Maybe I'm too old, but I don't see how that will help?" Steve asks.
"Simple, a missing person who hasn't been seen since the seventies appearing? The media will blow up looking for her. Anyone that sees her will post about it. Anything for the five minutes of fame that will come with returning her," I explain. Steve nods.
"Friday, you and Jarvis keep us updated," I tell the AI, "Vision, the same goes for you. Any other image that matches with Olive I need to know about."
Olive POV
"What's the mission?"
"Well, for starters, free me," She demands. I unwillingly drop the shadows around her, "Now, where are the trackers? Take them off."
