Bucky POV
"Snap out of it, doll," I say, shaking Olive by her shoulders, "I don't know what you're seeing, but I promise you, it is not real. You're safe, okay?"
She stares at the wall, frozen in terror. She doesn't respond.
I don't know what to do. Should I call Steve? Maybe Tony? Would they be able to help? Or would more people make this worse?
Her whole body tenses, then she screams. After ten minutes, she moves again, breathing heavily. I realize I'm still holding onto her shoulders, so I let go, leaning her against her bed.
"I can totally do this all day, you heinous bitch," She says in a dark tone. Her voice was low and threatening, unlike her usual happy bubbly self. This was scary. She was looking right in front of her as if she was seeing someone. Then her head jerked to the side, and she fell.
"You call that a punch?" She laughs, "My grandma could throw a better punch, and she's six feet under."
She sat and listened to whoever she was seeing, anger burning in her eyes. She reminded me of pre-serum Steve. That scared me the most.
"I told you not to call me that, barf bag."
Another punch. She laughs, finally standing up. She takes a few steps forward with a smile, shadows creeping towards her. They wrap around what I'm assuming is a person and move into the air. They tighten slowly as Olive laughs maniacally. Then she falls forward, it looked like she got kicked in the back. She lifts her head up and it quickly slams into the floor.
"Olive?" I panic, "Olive, wake up, seriously."
I close the gap between us after a moment of stillness. She's still breathing.
"Tony won't kill me too bad,"
"What won't I do?"
"You have the worst fucking timing Stark."
"What happened to my sister?" Tony sounds mad.
"About half an hour ago I started looking for her. I hadn't seen her all day, so I wanted to check in on her," I start backing away from Tony who looks madder with every word, "And well, I'm not sure what was happening, another memory is my guess. I was trying to snap her out of it."
"Did you hurt her?"
"No, she just got her ass kicked by literally nothing."
"I don't know if I should laugh or cry," Tony says, the anger leaving his tone and expression.
"Both, both are good."
Tony and I stand silently for a few moments. He slowly walks towards her and sits on the floor. He says something that I don't quite catch.
"Want me to go, Tony?"
"No, stay."
"Alright." I go and sit with him.
Someone knocks on the door. I look at Tony, who nods.
"Who is it?"
"Steve."
"Come in."
Steve walks in, "Where is Olive?" he stops and looks at the floor, "There is Olive. Is she alright?"
"Fuck if we know."
"I just got here," Tony doesn't take his eyes off his sister, not fully focused on the conversation.
"I walked in and she was reliving a memory. I tried to stop it."
"So you knocked her unconscious?"
"No, dumbass," I say to Steve, "She did this all on her own."
