"Ooooh, Olive! Wake up, bitch!" I open my eyes and in the darkness, I see my face. But darker. My eyes have dark makeup and eyeliner sharp enough to stab someone. My lips were such a dark red they were almost black. My cheeks had no colour and my hair was black.
"This is a dream," I state, "Go away, Belladonna."
She cackles, "Dream? You know we're a nightmare,"
"Correction, bitch. You're a nightmare,"
More cackling, "You know I'm right. And, you are awake. I'm still here,"
"You live in my head,"
"You didn't get rid of me after my last takeover," She smiles grimly, "You know what that means."
"I call Bucky and he just can say the bye-bye words?" I ask like I'm speaking to a child.
She hisses demonically, which was appropriate, "No, we're going to play a game. Good luck! You can't win in your weakened state!"
Before I can fire a quip back at her she dives into me and I pass out again.
"It's seven A.M.," Jarvis tells me, "Fun fact, did you know the brain of a male is ten percent bigger than that of a female, but a female brain works more efficiently?"
"Huh, no, I didn't," I tell Jarvis. Fun facts were his replacement for the weather. Yesterday I learned human muscles can tear themselves apart, but our brains don't let them unless the strength is needed.
If a woman's brain is more efficient, imagine two women's brains together?
"Hello?" I ask, panicked, "Jarvis, who was that?"
"There is only you in the room and on this floor," The AI answers calmly.
"Then who did I just hear?"
"I'm unsure,"
Don't pretend you don't know who I am, Olive. We share a body.
"Belladonna?"
Yes.
"Leave me alone, bitch!"
How about you leave me alone? You can't take care of us. I can. Give up, you know you want to.
I shake my head no. Before I can speak I'm forced to stand up and I fight as Belladonna forces me to walk to the mirror.
Like what you see?
I shake my head, "No," I whisper. My hair is black and my face is pale. "You're not welcome in my mind anymore! Get out! I was here first! Jarvis! Get help!"
"I'll get Tony,"
Help?! I'm helping you already! Look, you're walking without the help of that man. Really, it's disgusting you've accepted help from one of their kind. You've let yourself go while I was dormant.
Tony comes running in, "What's wrong? Why is your hair black?"
"Belladonna," I whisper before getting flung at a wall.
"Charlie, Echo, Alpha, Sierra, Echo," Tony says to me.
I hear screaming in my head and my head starts getting bashed into the floor. Tony dives to the floor and grabs my head. Belladonna is fighting for freedom as blood runs down my face from a gash in my forehead.
I wake up under bright lights in a bed.
"Tony?" I call out in a panic as I try to sit up. That's when I realize I'm strapped down.
