A/N: I reinstalled Wattpad (I needed a break for the long weekend) to see this fic added in two reading lists. One was called "funniest shit I've ever read." and the other "stuff i can't wait to be updated." And that made my day. So whoever that was, I'm sure you know who you are, thank you!
Now on with the story, please remember to vote!

I wake up in total darkness. I almost panic before I remember I'm home and safe, not hiding in a dark alleyway in a fridge box shadow to survive. I'd say good times, but I'd be lying.
"Knock knock," I hear my brother say as he walks in.
"I don't have the energy to explain knocking to you right now," I groan, pulling my pillow over my face.
"That reminded me so much of our teen years I feel like I just got punched," Tony jokes. "But I have something for you. Say goodbye to your cane and being a senior!"
I sit up and see something. I have no clue what, but it looks like an unfinished Iron Man suit. It's a matte black colour. It wasn't a full suit, you could see through it and it had no arms.
"An unfinished... suit?" I ask, confused.
"No, dumbass, it's a hi-tech prosthesis. You won't need to use the cane, and should be able to walk normally," He explains, "Now put it on, I'm excited!"
I roll my eyes, "How, airhead?"
"It's voice command, so that's how,"
"I'm not speaking to it. That's weird, Tony,"
"Oh my god, just do it!" he complains.
"Attitude much?" I sass back, "But whatever, I'll do it. Broken suit thing, do the thing."
Tony laughs, but nothing happens, "I lied. There's a button on the side,"
"You're the worst," I roll my eyes, hobbling up to the contraption, finding the button. I press it. It opens. I stand in it, hitting the button again, and it closes and adjusts, "This could be worse."
Tony smiles, "Great, now walk around a little!" He's absolutely beaming. This is so fun for him.
I take a few steps, and it's perfectly comfortable. I can hardly feel it. I turn to Tony, "Okay, this is pretty good, I won't lie,"
"Pretty good? You mean perfect. I made it, after all," He brags.
"I thought Bruce helped?"
"I'm more of a builder than he is, he just watched, but we had fun,"
I nod, "So you're good now?"
He nods, "We would have been fine anyways, Ollie,"
"I'm going to boil your teeth,"
"And I'm going to call your therapist, because clearly you haven't been," He tells me, grabbing his phone and leaving me all alone again.
I sit on my bed. The room is pitch black, but I see it as if the room were full of light. The door opens. I had the whole floor blacked out, so no light came into the room. It was Bucky.
"Are you in here?"
"Yes, obviously. Can't you see me?" I joke, "I'm not hiding."
"Haha, very funny," He says unamused, "Can I turn on a light?"
I nod, then laugh, "I'm an airhead. I just nodded. You can't see!"
He turns on a light and walks over to me, "What have you got there? I saw Tony in the elevator. I'm guessing he just left? And that's where that came from?" He says the last part while gesturing at my hi-tech prosthesis, as Tony called it.
