"Through those doors must be mini games," I commented, "I wonder why there isn't a clubs door..."

"I'm sure as hell not going through that hearts door," One of the Beach members cowered, "That's probably suicide."

"Yeah, fuck that," One of the four non-Beach members agreed, "I'm going through the diamond door."

The four non-Beach members do not hesitate and they all push through the diamond door, a slam echoes behind them. The two Beach members look at Chishiya and I. The other Beach member looks at the heart door in fear, "I'm going through the spade door."

The two look at each other and nod before disappearing behind the spade door. I sigh and I turn toward the hearts door.

Two of the Beach members disappeared behind the spades door, leaving Y/N and I in the room. I raised my eyebrow, curious as to what she is thinking right now. Y/N, did you just freeze up or did you not stop them on purpose?

"You didn't stop them," I observed, "Why?"

"Even if I tried to talk to them, I wouldn't be able to convince them to go through the heart door," She replied, "It would be a waste of time."

I smirked, "That's true."

Looking at the hearts door, a bit of warmth spread out through my chest. Y/N, your intelligence might be promising. The announcer voice came back, "One minute has passed."

"Should we group up with the spade players?" I asked, wondering what her plan is.

Y/N hesitates, "No. If we go with the spade players then we might not be able to get back to go to the hearts door. Plus, no one is willing to play the heart mini-game, it would just lead to arguing which would waste time."

I nod and keep my smirk on my face, as the door closes behind us as we head down the hallway. A table with multiple tools from screwdrivers, saws, knives and even guns. The door behind us closes with a creak. The sign above the table reads, "Please feel free to use these tools. Please put one of the bracelets on."

"Mini-game: Heartbeat. Every truth told will raise the elevator, every lie told will lower the elevator. If too many lies are told, it is game over. Objective: Reach the top to find the heart item."

"Huh," I walked over to one of the walls and looked through one of the lattice holes to look down, "Looks like it's a bottomless pit down there."

Y/N walks over next to me, our shoulders nearly touching. Her gaze was focused on the black pit below. I look at the strands of her hair, slightly out of place, covering parts of her face. The tension in my cheeks loosened as I kept my gaze on her. My breath started to shake, wondering if I should take this chance to say how I... feel? I want to tell her that she can trust me, rely on me...

She took steps back toward the middle of the room and takes a deep breath, "My name is Y/N."

The room lifts up by a tiny amount. I snapped out of my gaze, "Seems like small truths aren't going to get us anywhere."

Her eyebrows scrunch together. Her knees are locked, but her awkward stance disproportionately distributes the weight of her body. Her eyes are dark, focusing her energy on her thoughts.

Y/N... you're beautiful.

"When I was little, I was pretty stupid. I thought that everyone's hair was like a plant... so I took multiple showers or wet my hair often to try and 'water' it so that it would grow."

I look at Y/N, the corners of my mouth lifts up as I softly chuckle. I never knew you would confess something silly yet embarrassing, Y/N... cute.  My mouth returns to its normal shape, knowing Y/N wants me to say something, "I don't dislike or hate you. I just don't know if I can trust you but this game is making me think you're slightly more than tolerable."
