After they were all done, they were sent to change and have lunch. Hazel was excited, because Mrs Terpisichore had told her how good her dance was.

"See you!" She waved to Frank as she walked towards her room with her friends.

Once inside, they snapped.

"Hazel, that was AMAZING!" Piper screamed

"You are so getting in, girl" Drew said as she packed her bags and dressed up with a black short dress with hot pink accesories.

"Yeah, you did better than Kelli" Annabeth pointed out.

"Really? But she did every step right" Hazel noted as she got on her overall and pink t-shirt.

"But you had the feeling" Piper said "And that is even more important"

The four girls walked to the canteen and took a seat in their usual spot, after getting a serving of chickpea salad.

Rachel came and sat with them.

"Hazel, your choreography was so cool!" She said "It overcame everything about yesterday"

Hazel smiled "Thanks. You did good, too"

They chatted for a while, discussing trivial things and trying to ease the preassure from the selection that would take place in minutes. The one that would decide who gets in the Olympus ballet Academy and who has to pack their bags and go home.

"My take?" Drew asked, pointing with her fork "You three roomies are going in. Percy is getting in, too, because he worked nicely with you, Annie. Mr tall bulky guy and Mr blond and plain as white bread are also in. Oh, and the crazy little latino that jumps up to the ceeling! That one, too"

"You've got it figured" Annabeth said "Still, wish you could also stay"

"Hello? I hate ballet, and also dancing. I want to get into fashion school, but our mother here wanted us to be nice little ballerinas. Well, good for Pipes, but it's a no for me. But, hey! I'll visit, and text, and call"

They smiled.

"We'll visit too, if we get a chance" Hazel promised.

Lunch hour passed quickly, so quickly that it seemed to be gone in seconds. Then, Mrs Terpisichore and other eight women which were probably her sisters entered.

"Those auditioning, present yourselves at studio B at once"

They ran inside fast and placed themselves in a straight line, opposite the women.

"You have all performed well. But, as you know, only seven schoolarships are offered" Mrs Terpisichore slowly paced the room.

"We have taken your abilities into account and have chosen who will be the seven lucky winners" Another continued.

Hazel swallowed hard. She had a lump in her throat and a knot in her stomach.

"The first winner is... Mr Leo Valdez!"

That short, latino guy stepped to the front. He was smiling, looking happier than ever.

"You have skills to be talented, once we manage to discipline you"

He placed himself next to the teachers, smiling proudly.

"Told you" Drew whispered.

"The second winner is... Piper Mclean!"

They cheered silently for Piper as she made her way next to Leo.

"Your flexibility and strenght are incredible. Like Mr Valdez, you will need a bit of discipline, but you will be a good dancer"

Piper was looking avestruck, as if she was still procesing everything.

"The third winner is... Jason Grace!"

The blond guy which Drew said to be 'plain and boring as white bread' stepped next to Piper.

"Good technique, good dancing, nice discipline" Was the comment he got.

"Wish I has bet at this" Drew muttered under her breath "I'd be getting richer by the minute"

"The fourth winner is... Annabeth Chase!"

Annabeth smiled and lighted up as she walked towards the rest, proudly.

"Flawless technique, good discipline, has some feeling too"

Piper and Annabeth waved to Hazel. They were in together. Now, she just needed to getin too. She had danced well. But would it be enough?

"The fifth winner is... Perseus Jackson!"

"Percy" Percy muttered as he walked.

"Nice pas de deux, I want to see more"

Drew and Hazel held their laughter for their dear lives. Annabethwas blushing, and so was Percy.

"The sixth winner is... Frank Zhang!"

Hazel found herself smiling at the boy as he clumsily walked to the rest, probably more nervous than in his whole life.

"You will be great in pas de deux, and have good strenght"

Hazel started sweating. Just one more person would get in.

"The seventh, and final winner, is..."

Kelli had already started walking to the front.

"Hazel Levesque!"

"WHAT?!?!" Kelli yelled.

"Technique could be better, but that choreography was spectacular. You should repeat it in front of my sisters later"

Hazel could not believe it. She had done it, she was in. She was in Olympus ballet academy!

She made her way to the rest, where Piper and Annabeth side-hugged her.

"NO! IT'S NOT RIGHT!" Kelli screamed "I SHOULD BE THERE!"

"Miss Kelli Munster, what seems to be the problem?"

"SHE CAN'T DANCE!!! I AM BETTER THAN HER!!! I SHOULD BE THE WINNER!"

It was Mrs Terpisichore who answered.

"Miss Kelli, you have technique, but she has passion. Technique can be learned, it's what this school's for, whereas passion can't. You either have it or not. And, I regret to inform, that you do not, in fact, have an ounze of passion is your body"

"IT'S NOT FAIR!" She pouted.

"Life is not fair. Go pack your things. Everyone pack, except for you seven"

The seven turned at her, between nerves and excitement.

"I'm not telling you it's gonna be easy, but I'm telling you it's worth it"
