When You're Different in School

Chapter 20: What I Want

"What the fuck did you do?" I yelled at my other side.

"I simply hurt all who hurt us."

"Joe never did anything!"

"The only reason Joe, Tyler, and the girls are hurt, is because they simply got in the way. So I had to do what was necessary."

"I never wanted you to hurt anyone! You pushed your way out!"

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yes I'm fucking sure! I wouldn't tell you to hurt people! Especially not ones close to me! So why the hell did you hurt people?"

"Oh Crystal." She said laughing. "You're so naive. You really think they are close to you? I'm the only one who is truly close to you. Only I understand what you want."

"And what exactly do you think I fucken want?" I sassed with both my hands on my hips.

"Revenge." She said walking towards me. "Revenge on everyone who has treated you like nothing. Revenge on everyone who has abused or hurt you. Revenge on everyone you ever loved."

"What do you mean everyone I ever loved?"

"They confused you." She whispered in my ear as she circled around me. "They played you. They abused you. They used you." "They never loved you." She said once she was standing back in front of me.

"What will you do?"

"Hurt them like they've hurt you. An eye for an eye...so to speak."

I bit my bottom lip as I thought about it all. I did want revenge on all who had hurt me. I knew this wasn't the way to do it. I would regret it later in my life. But for now, it was time for revenge.

"You must promise not to hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it. Even if they try to stop you."

"I won't hurt them if I know them. But you must know, this is a dark path we plan to go down."

"I'll worry about that later. For now, I want justice to be severed."

"And it will be if you let me."

"Take all the time you need."

Little did I know that this one sentence would ruin my entire life. You never really know how good your life is until someone comes and screws it over while they leave you all the broken pieces to put back together.
