Chapter 8: Spark Kiss

I knocked on Abby's door and was greeted by her older brother Nate. He smiled and let me in. I walked up to her room where I saw her and my other gothic sisters.

"Hey gothic sisters." I said.

"Hey gothic sister." they said back.

"What are you doing here?" I asked sitting down.

"Is it true Tyler is one of us?" Sadie asked. I pulled out my phone and showed them the picture.

"Let me see your neck." Dezz said.

I pulled my shirt down so they could see. Abby grabbed a wet cloth and cleaned me up.

"That's really deep."Abby said.

"Well I don't remember anything. All I know is I fell asleep in my bed then woke up when you called me."

"Remember, that's what happened when you get bit. You can't remember anything about it." Dezz said.

"Yeah I know. I just...I thought he was different. I thought he would be my human boyfriend or something like that."

"That's a dream we all wish for Crystal, but it never comes true." Abby said rubbing my back.

"Yeah I know. All I want is for us to be accepted but humanity wouldn't understand. They would be more afraid." I said laying down.

"Its ok. Everything will be alright." Dezz said.

"No it wont! You guys don't understand!" I yelled.

"Why don't we understand?" they asked.

"There was a spark Abby! We sparked!" I told her.

Her eyes got real big as she hugged me. "I'm so happy for you!" she shouted. Dezz and Sadie looked confused and Abby stopped hugging me.

"What?" Dezz and Sadie asked.

"Um...well, when Tyler and I was in the hallway, he kissed me and I felt the spark." I told them.

"Oh my gosh!" they all screamed.

"This is why I didn't tell you. Your making a huge deal out of it."

"Because it is a big deal. Crystal, it was your first kiss." Dezz said.

"And better, you felt the spark. Crystal, that like never happens on the first kiss. It always comes later in life. You should tell him." Sadie added.

"I hate it when your right. But I can't just go up to him and say 'oh hey Tyler. I wanted to let you know that last night you bit me and the spark we felt means we are mates for life. love ya.' Like that will go easy." I said.

"YOU LOVE HIM!!!" They shouted.

"Oh shit."

"Your first boyfriend!!!" Dezz and Sadie shouted.

"Not yet at least, but soon to be." Abby said.

"I'm really tired. Can we just go to bed and worry about it in the morning?" I said covering myself up in the blanket.

"Yeah. I have bus passes for you guys." Abby said to Dezz and Sadie.

We all went to bed but I couldn't sleep. I didn't know what I was going to do. I mean, I think I love him. The spark will tel you your true love. That's what I've always been told. But I barely know him. I worry about it in the morning. And with that, I fell asleep.
