When I woke up, I was sweating, I probably had a nightmare. I can't remember what happened, but I'm used to it by now, since it happens at least once a week.

I take a shower and walk into the kitchen making breakfast. It was my first day at school here. I was nervous. I don't like interacting with new people, if I do, I don't really act like myself. I put on a show. Act all confident.

As I left my trailer to walk to school, I was called over by the voice of none other than my neighbor Eddie Munson.

"Morning, Munson. What's up? Did you need anything?" I question him.

"Morning, uhm are you gonna walk to school? Cause I could give you a ride if you want to." He offered with a nervous chuckle at the end. I've also noticed that he can't stand still for too long, changing on which leg he is leaning on more.

"Uhm yeah, sure if it's not an inconvenience or anything. Thanks Munson."

When he started his van, his music instantly started blasting through the speakers. If I'm correct it was Iron Man from Black Sabbath.

"Shit, sorry about that" he turned the music down so you could talk to each other.

"Don't worry about it man. Black Sabbath?" I questioned him, slightly intrigued. His eyes widened at my question with both shock and excitement.

"You know Black Sabbath?" he asked being in disbelieve to which I simply nodded. "Huh. I would not have guessed." Then he started to drive and, on the way to school we talked about music and the different bands and genres we liked.

As I got out of the car, I could hear and see people whispering to one another already gossiping. I parted ways with Eddie because he said he had to take care of some things before school. We also agreed that he didn't have to drive me home after school.

As I walked into the halls one of the girls I saw the other day came over to me and clung to my arm saying how she missed me and that she's so excited to get to know me better. Alright she's either really fucking horny or really lonely. Either way it's kind of sad. She also introduced me to a guy with brown hair named Steve 'the hair' Harrington, the king of Hawkins High and another kid with freckles who was named Tommy H. No idea what his last name is they literally just said Tommy H. The girl who was clinging to me earlier was apparently Tommy's girlfriend called Tina. They all seemed like pricks to be honest. The only one who seemed nice was Nancy Wheeler, the king's girlfriend. She had brown hair and seemed too nice to be friends with these people.

After the introduction, the bell rang signaling it's time for the first period to start. The school sucked, like every other one I was too, but the people here we're even more close minded, they had a problem with almost everything, it was exhausting. The only information I gathered during the time there, was that Will Byers, the missing kid, had an older brother called Jonathan. Apparently he was a weirdo, but that didn't really stop me from trying to talk to him. Which was unsuccessful because he wasn't in school today.

Since I didn't have a ride home, I decided to go to a store that might sell skateboards and luckily I found one. As I left the store I bumped into Joyce, buying tons of Christmas lights.

"Whoa, hey careful there." She almost dropped one of the boxes but I caught it.

"Oh, thank you so much! You're the kid I met yesterday!"

"Yeah, y/n. So...Christmas lights?" I asked curious. Christmas is a month away...but if the missing people are not caused by normal human beings, then there might be a possibility for lights to flicker. Ghosts? No way, how would ghosts leave their place of death and why would the kidnap people? Maybe? No, there's no way. I mean...it could be a demon. But no one found any sulfur so that's a no too.
