ANIKA

I do not know what happened neither can I tell how it happened but I was sleeping and then suddenly I started feeling sharp pains where I was stabbed making me toss a bit before I finally opened my eyes to the dark room.

I turned to the side to find my girlfriend sleeping peacefully while I was trying my best to be quiet but was failing miserably so I tried my best and finally got out of bed with much difficulty I might add, crawling to the door I held the walls to support myself before opening up and going out of the room through the corridors. I got to the sitting room clutching my abdomen when I noticed a presence in the dim room and I was lucky enough to be right next to the light switch so I turned on the lights and was stunned when I saw Devon seated on the couch with her legs crossed smoking?

Huh?

I couldn't get a word out before I dropped to the floor still holding myself but there was something else....Blood

Apparently as I was crawling I was straining too much which made my injuries open once again. Ugh why can't life give me a break today?

As soon as I fell I say Devon getting up abruptly and then running straight to me before catching me and carrying me over to the couch. I didn't want to wake Ana so I told her to take me to the game room instead which she did immediately, the game room was dark as usual but I switched on the lights as Devon carried me to the bed and set me down gently then she looked around trying to find something before I told her that the first aid is on the table on the other side of the room and she scurried over to get it.

When she got back I couldn't help but stare at her, she looked incredibly hot with her hair falling on her face and making her look more sexy than she did at the office the day before... Fuck I am not supposed to think about jumping her bones and I should be thinking of my injuries right now or at least my girlfriend but here I am thinking about my ex student and now business partner.

I'm fucked in the head.

DEVON

To say I was terrified when Anika got shot is just one way to put it, I was so scared I won't get her back and actually have a chance with her and I know that's too much reaction for just a few stab wounds but hey no one can blame me for thinking the worst I mean a sniper could have been at the top of the roof for all we knew.

I haven't really had time with her since she left my place the last time and I can't explain the type of joy I felt when I saw her in her office that faithful day but it didn't take a genius to know she wasn't very happy to see me there while I simply didn't care as long as I got to see her again.

After the encounter I filled the girls in on what was happening and they for sure cussed me out for not leaving Anika alone after my pussy ass move but when I explained everything to them in detail and also disclosed that meeting Anika that day was purely coincidental, they let me off the hook as Shenall told me to use my head to think instead of my dick if I really want my gurl back while Milan, Nova, Sydney, Harley and Rome just nodded in agreement to what she said.

Meeting Anika became tasking because the woman just kept making sure we met with people around, there was no private time and when I finally got her when she was alone in her office she just had to be stabbed like for real can't my luck just be good with the woman I want? But I guess I deserve that tho.
