The first half of the day was not as bad as Gemma had been afraid it would be.

She attended classes with her friends, potions with the twins and Lee, and hung out around the castle.

It was relaxing, to say the least.

Even class with Umbridge wasn't half as bad as everyone was ready for.

It was all fun until Gemma ran into Cho.

Gemma had sent Hermione, Ron, and Harry ahead of her, needing to go back to get her notebook from the common room.

And she had been just around the corner of the library when she accidentally ran into the Ravenclaw girl.

At first, Cho had started to apologise profusely, but when she saw it was Gemma, her sickly sweet attitude faded, and she scowled, "Actually, no, I'm not."

Gemma frowned, "Did I do something to upset you? Because this is literally the first time we've seen each other since the beginning of the holidays."

"Oh, like you don't don't," She snapped at her.

The Lupin girl shrugged, "I actually don't."

Cho's face went red as she hissed, "Cedric..."

Gemma stared blankly at her, "Cho, I have no idea what you're talking about!"

"I can't believe how shameless you are!" She snarled at her. "I know you beguiled him when we were together! I mean, he talked about you all the damn time! He wasn't secretive! And now he's gone, and you don't even have the decency to—"

Gemma cut her off, "Hold on! You think he cheated on you with me?!"

Cho looked beyond upset, "Of course he did! He never stopped talking about—"

The Lupin girl cut her off again, "CEDRIC AND I WERE JUST FRIENDS! HE WAS LIKE MY BROTHER, YOU PRETENTIOUS GIT!" Her face was red as she continued, "AND TO THINK YOU THOUGHT HE WAS SO DISHONOURABLE AS TO CHEAT ON YOU, YOU ARE SORELY MISTAKEN!" She poked Cho in the shoulder harshly, "HE NEVER STOPPED TALKING ABOUT YOU!!! YOU WERE HIS GIRL!!! AND JUST YOU ADMITTING THAT YOU DID THING THAT OF HIM MAKES ME SICK!!!" Gemma swung her hands around and waved a hand toward the library where Harry was and said, "WHAT ABOUT HARRY?!"

"Wh-What about him?" Cho stammered, obviously not foreseeing Gemma's outburst and obviously not handling it well as everything she had believed over the last year was being broken down.

"You think I'm beguiling him too?" Gemma snapped at her, her eyes wild. "Because I swear to the stars and the planets, if you ever try to come in between my brother and me, you will be bald even longer than Draco Malfoy, and nothing will bring back your one beauty until I give you the antidote! Got it?!"

Cho didn't answer, her face pale.

Gemma scoffed, "Don't answer. You've been warned."

She side-stepped the Ravenclaw girl, suddenly aware of the students watching her walk away.

She would have hidden on any other day, but she was feeling spiteful, so she just held her chin up high, moving away.

Well, until she heard one of Cho's friends say, "Don't worry about her, Cho. She just hates that she got caught."

Gemma froze, and she could hear murmurs from students around her, asking one another if they should go get a teacher or stop her or just let her go at it.
