"You can't out run us Amelia, you know we'll find you and take you back to the station" you could here them chasing you, you've been at it for an hour, but they won't get off your tail
You knew you shouldn't have stolen, better yet you should've known better than to get caught.
"Fuck" you told yourself as you kept running as fast as your legs could take you, the numbing pain in your legs wouldn't stop nagging at you, you had to stop and rest, get back your energy.
You rounded near a corner alley so the cops couldn't see you and sat behind a dumpster, regaining your strength and breathe back. "There I see her!" Just as you were relaxing a voice broke your thoughts, another cop, why did they have to target me, I'm sure there are plenty other thief's or criminals out there.
You hopped back on your feet and ran faster, faster then before, you were so close to losing them when you turned another corner and connected heads with someone, you fell groaning at the pain from the impact of the bump.
"Hey, I'm so sorry are you ok, I should have seen where I was going, are you alright?" you heard a male voice ask, you looked up and saw a guy around your age, with dirty dark blonde hair in a yellow top, with the most gorgeous eyes ever. You forgot everything that happened in the past couple of minutes.
Then it hit you, "shit, fuck." You whisper yelled, "no no, I'm alright, shit I have to go, we'll ,set again soon maybe." You told him after remembering you were running from the cops.
You got back up and continued running past him, despite the throbbing pain in your head from the fall. You kept running after hearing the cops voices.
The boy just stood there watching as your small body got smaller and smaller in his vision from the distance between the two.
