"Last box done, finally" you had finished unpacking all your belongings into your new room, you figured tomorrow you'll design everything. For now you were exhausted and just wanted to rest, so you put your head down for a few minutes.

Those few minutes turned into a couple hours, it was now 6:00, you weren't too hungry so you skipped dinner, not having a big appetite. You could hear music from down the road and you wanted to explore your new home so it was perfect.
"Mum! I'm going out to explore the town, be back soon, love you" you screamed out you your mum before unlocking the front door, "alright honey, be safe, love you." Your mum has just gotten a divorce, and I'm glad for her, dad wasn't the nicest to either of us, but we're better now.
I walked down the road and saw beach, with huge tree stumps and broken down logs scattered along the long lengthened beach, people in bright colours with red plastic cups in their hands were everywhere, not a single person i sight didn't have a drink in their hand.
Thinking it wouldn't hurt to try and make new friends you joined the party. Grabbing a drink from the esky you sat on a log near the water just sipping while watching the pretty view. It was calming till a figure sat next to you, disturbing your peace.
"Can I help you?" You asked them not exactly caring how rude it sounded, the beer getting to your head a little making you tipsy, shouldn't of skipped dinner definitely. "I was just wondering what such a pretty girl was doing sitting all alone" the guy said.
"That pretty girl is minding her business drinking beer, while watching the water." You told him, the beer getting a little to your head. "Ahh, would that pretty girl happen to have a name?" He asked, she questioned if he was talking to her just because he was drunk and high. "Yes she happens to have a name" she told him. "And what's that pretty name?" He questioned further. "Amelia, and yours?" She asked her mood changing into a carefree mindset.
"Pretty name for a pretty girl, my names Rafe , so you wanna come snort some coke? It'll be fun." He asked her, and she was in no position to be getting more fucked up but she nodded and got up with him, following him to his friends.
Rafe quickly got two rolls and spread two white lines of powder on a table, giving her the roll she immediately sniffs it, taking it in after the powerful snort, him doing the same. "Whoo, that was amazing" she told him, she also forgot she had to be home soon, too drunk she asked him to walk her home.
"Hey Rafe, can you walk me home, it's getting late." You asked him batting your eyelashes at him innocently. "Yeah sure, let's go." You both started walking down the road to Amelia's house.
"Alright this is my stop, it was lovely meeting you, will I be seeing you again?" She asked still drunk which he shook his head vigorously at her question, kissing her forehead he said goodbye and left her there thinking about er first night on the island.
