.Hayley.

I turned my head as light seeped in through my eyelids, I ended up turning again and again until finally, I gave up. I groaned in annoyance, frustrated with the sun for ruining my surprisingly good sleep. I only woke up once, from another bad dream but it was bearable than the other ones i've had in the past.

A yawn escaped my lips as I sat up against the wooden bed frame. I stretched my arms above my head until I began to feel my muscles loosen and start to relax.

I swung my legs over the side of the bed as I took in the amazing warm sunlight that hit my body. I forgot about how amazing the sun is in the morning. I got so used to getting up, taking meds, working, taking more meds and then falling asleep. I never even got to enjoy anything. All I wanted was for everything to stop. That was my normal.

My eyes gazed at the big window that shined into my room. The view was absolutely stunning. The sky was a bright blue with not a cloud insight. The deep and crystallized blue water surrounded the backyard into a swimming pool. With tiny white and concrete tiles, placed around the pool. While large palm trees that hanged above the cushioned lounge chairs on all sides. I could get used to this view.

A smile crosses my face as I looked over to the clock on the bedside table. It's 10:15 a.m. I never get to sleep in this late.

Goose bumps trailed up my legs as my feet made contact with the nice and soft carpet. I walked to the bathroom eager to take off this scratchy dress. I turned on one of the lights revealing my massive bathroom.

The lighting was dim, the first thing I noticed was the open shower that sat in the middle of the room. The shower was huge, it could easily fit 15 people or even more. Along with the two double sinks that sat on either side of the marble countertop and tons of drawer space below.

I walked over to one of the mirrors as I checked to see how much damaged I caused last night, but to my surprise I looked decent, my hair was still in its bun, my makeup was still half on, and so was my dress which had little to no crimps.

I began with my hair, starting with taking out the thousands of bobby pins out of my hair. One by one more of my hair fell down from the bun and then I flipped my hair upside down messaging my scalp with my finger tips. Once my scalp started to loosen I closed and locked the bathroom door anxious to get this tight and scratchy dress off.

I continued to unzip my dress until I could step out of it, leaving it on the floor as I walked to the shower to turn on the water. My eyes brightened in amusement as I saw the steam start to form on the glass.

I missed taking hot showers especially when I started to feel my goosebumps start to fade.

I leaned my head back as the hot water began to run through my hair. Little noises escaped my lips as I felt myself begin to relax and all of my problems away with it as I began to lather shampoo and condition onto my hair.

The fragrance of coconut and vanilla consumed the air around me as I stepped out. The cold air sent shivers up my arms as I quickly ran to the closet. A pair of black sweatpants and an oversized black sweatshirt was placed on one of the racks. I quickly threw them on with a pair of white socks to go with.

After, I decided to put my wet hair in a pony tail to let it air dry. I looked at myself one last time deciding that I felt fair enough to leave the bedroom.

Everything seemed to look so different in the light. The hallways seemed so much more vibrant and joyful unlike last night where everything seemed so dark and dim.

I followed the turns that I counted yesterday until I made it all the way back to the top of the stairs. The balcony caught my eye again, but this time it looked even more magnificent. I made a mental note to myself that I need to go out there and look at the view if I don't die before hand.
