"Welcome men, I assume you know your assignment?" I order, my face void of emotion as I talk to the row of men that just came in for Aurora

'Yes sirs' are heard around the room and I nod turning around and walking up the stairs leading into Zane's office

There are no more games, Aurora is our priority at all time no matter what. Ill die before anything happens to her

I open up the metal door, leading me into the office where Dimitri and Zane are already awaiting me to speak about the issue at hand.

"Finally took you long enough" Zane sighs opening up a folder. His hair is a mess as if he has been running his fingers through it, his eyes have a light red glow and my eyes widen

What the fuck happened, I look at Dimitri for some sort of explanation but he is staring off into space his eyes glowing way brighter than Zanes

"What the fuck happened I was gone for like 10 minutes" I air, all of the worst possibilities running through my head

"They found us." Dimitri says getting up harshly the chair falling behind him

I feel anger fill my body the hairs on the end of my neck standing up

"What?" I say, my voice barely above a whisper

"They found us Alex, they found her" he repeats making anger trickle my spine.

"Well then whats our next move?" I ask attempting to keep my anger at bay

They found her. What choice do we have now? None thats what, and now we are gonna loose her and be alone for the rest of eternity.

"I don't know, we have to eradicate them all, but how" Zane says his eyes glowing brighter with each word, I glance at Dimitri who is pacing the room I can feel his anger radiating off of him at this point

A soft knock at the door makes every one halt their movements, its Aurora. She opens the door slowly walking in and closing the door behind her

"I overheard you guys" she says her soft voice barely above a whisper, I look at her tear stained eyes and apparently so do the other guys

Dimitri rushes to her, "Its okay sweetheart, its under control" he says placing his hands on her face but it doesn't last long, before Aurora rips them off her face

"No it isn't! You guys promised me I would be safe and what now? You have no plan-" she pauses each tear falling down her face pulling on my heart strings
"-you don't know anything and now I'm suffering the consequences" she turns around running out of the room.

Silence encases the room, but its too quiet. Everyones thoughts are running wild including mine

"We are so fucking selfish" Dimitri starts under his breath

"We knew what the possibilities were if we kept her to ourselves and now what? Our worst nightmare is coming true, why the fuck were we so selfish!" He yells out, his eyes bright and pupils dilated

He hasn't been this angry in years,  "Dont you think we know that Dimitri?" Zane starts but I know he will keep going if I don't step in

"Okay, Our main focus is her safety, so lets worry about that now then your stupid needs huh?" I say getting in between them both, my eyes glowing red and I can feel my skin getting hotter with the second

They scoff and the same time and I walk out of the room heading straight for Aurora, I walk up to the door lifting my fist to knock

"Go away Alex" Aurora says from the other side of the door. "Okay princess Ill be out here when you're ready to talk" I say sliding down the door

No answer.

And after a while Dimitri came to join and so did Zane now were all out here waiting for our princess to open up to us. We need her now more than ever

She is the glue that holds us together. We need her to have a peace of mind. And being without her now is excruciating.

The clock ticks, the sound loud in my ear drums mocking me of how long its been since Ive seen her beautiful face

Its been hours.

Not one word spoken to each other, she hasn't even attempted to jiggle her doorknob to check on us

Zane mind linked us a while ago saying he had a plan but God we are so exhausted of running we just need a break. One moment to be able to fall in love with our Aurora

The door knob turns and my head snaps to her door and there she stands. Dimitri's giant shirt covering her small frame, her legs bare, her long blonde hair covering her beautiful face

"Can we talk?"

We all rush up dusting ourselves off

"Of course sweetheart anything you want" Dimitri says shoving me out of the way and walking in after her first

I roll my eyes at him walking in, Zane behind me, now we're all standing while our little princess is sitting on her bed her legs crossed and so are her arms

I can see her shiver lightly as the air conditioning turns on and I immediately want to go warm her up but I don't know if she wants that so I keep my feet planted in my spot

She takes in a deep breath " Im sorry for being mean" she starts and Zane chuckles at that making her brows furrow

"Baby we needed a reality check, so its okay" he explains himself once seeing her face, but its true we all needed a wake up call and Im glad it was Aurora to do it

"Well what are you guys gonna do?" She continues, she picks at the skin around her nails, telling is she's anxious

Wait, she isn't going to address her locking herself in her room?

"so you aren't mad at us?" I ask the question that popped up in my head

She looks up at me a small smile on her face "no I just needed some time to myself love" she says, the new term of endearment she has never used before makes me stand up straighter

"But Yes I have a plan" Zane says reminding me of his earlier mind link

"Well spit it out"

Bro Im low key loosing all motivation to write this book but I'm gonna keep pushing and try not to rush it, anyways hope y'all enjoyed
