"No." Dimitri says in a final tone

"Dimitri what choice do we fucking have? Do you have a better plan?" Zane says his voice rising with each word

"Do you know how much Danger Aurora would be in?" Dimitri says, I scoot closer to Alex while we sit here in silence witnessing this whole thing

"Don't you think I know that? You're not the only one who cares about her dumbass" Zane say's standing up his eyes glowing. Uh oh.

I stand up reminding them of my presence.

"Lets do it" I settle

They turn to me their eyes burning red

"What?"
"What."

They state at the same time, their brows furrowed and their attention all on me

"Aurora thousands of vampires will be roaming the island and you will be the only human, not the mention the one they're trying to kill" Dimitri states and I roll my eyes making him stand up straighter

"Watch yourself little girl" he says his voice dropping an octave, reminding me of who I'm speaking to.

"I know Dimitri but if it will get rid of all of the rouges at once lets do it. I will be safe we will come up with a plan" I say standing my ground

And to be honest Im terrified of what the outcome will be

"Well then I guess we will be holding the first dawning ball of the century" Zane settles, moving to sit down on his desk chair

"So how can we be sure every single rouge will show up?" I ask curiously

Alex clears his throat "every rouge wants a second chance at being in the pack, wether its to betray us, bring us down, kill us or someone we like in this instance, so when the chance comes up they come running"

"We are also going to present you as our queen, which they wont like, as soon as they make the first move thats when we strike" Dimitri sets, just a small glow in his eyes, his anger finally dying down

I look up at the clock yawning, "go to sleep baby its late" Zane says standing up and walking towards me. I nod standing up and walking into Dimitri's room, Zane in toe

I get on the bed snuggling in, and Zane leans down kissing my forehead "Goodnight baby, we will see you tomorrow"

I sigh in content. Taking in a deep breath and letting my dreams overtake my mind

Fuck, I have a bad feeling about this whole Dawning Ball, but what choice do we really have? Its either this or wait for the inevitable which is the rouges finding us and taking the one thing we Love.

Love. Its a funny thing but Aurora has taught us what is it, she has taught me how to love myself, making me feel worthy of her love

Taught Alex that hr has people to lean on

Taught Zane that its okay to take a break sometimes

And most of all she has helped us fall in Love with her more and more everyday.

Zane snapping in my face snaps me out of my thoughts reminding me of what we were talking about.

"Dawning Ball will be held in 3 weeks time." He says closing the folder in his hand and putting it in a drawer.

"I wont disclose the location until the day of. But they all now know of the Dawning Ball and that it will be taking place in 3 weeks." He continues standing up and looking up at the clock on the wall reading 5am

"Now lets just hope they don't get impatient and find us before we tell them, they know where we are. But this island is huge it would take them weeks to search the whole thing for us" Alex says rambling on and on about the rouges finding us

"Alex we will be fine the main thing we need to be worried about is how we are going to get rid of them"     I interrupt tired of his voice already

Its silent for a moment all of us thinking silently. There aren't many things that can kill a vampire especially rabid rouges, except..

"Poison." Alex whispers but we hear him.

"We aren't affected by it. Right? And if we spike the drinks they wont notice a thing" Alex continues

He isn't wrong but Vampire poison has been around for centuries and our bodies have adapted to not be affected by it as much

"It isnt guaranteed" Zane says tapping his pen on the desk.

"Well white tree ash will kill us and them. So which do we pick" Alex says shrugging

"War would be too messy and dangerous for Aurora" I say listing our options that aren't really our options

Again there aren't many things that can kill rouges

"I got it." Zane says after a moment of silence
