Its the next morning and she still hasn't woken up, Doctor Ahmara walks in and I stand up quickly "What are the damages?" I ask her hurriedly, she looks at me and lets out a sigh "she has a concussion, two broken ribs and a few scratches and bruises" she says reading off the clipboard in her hand.

she looks up at me and starts talking again "this has been going on for a long time, she has so many scars on her body Zane, it hurts to look at her, just even thinking about what she went through... Shes strong I know that much" Amahra says looking at Aurora sleeping in the bed.

"I bet" I say, I barely know the girl but she is easily the most Beautiful girl I have ever seen, from the tip of her scalp down to the tip of her toes she is the most attractive person I have ever seen, when she first spoke to me it was like a drug and I just took my first hit and I knew I could never go back, her voice is so smooth and I just need to get to know her, Im not letting something this valuable slip between our fingers.

She stirs in the bed and her eyes shoot open and she sits up right quickly causing her to stiffen up and wince "ouch" she says her eyes tightly shut, Amahra walks up to her and puts a hand on her shoulder pushing her back slightly "slow down there Aurora" She says softly "where am I?" Aurora asks tilting her head to the side in confusion, that's cute

"my house" I say lowly, making sure I'm not being too loud, she looks up at my as if just now seeing that I'm here, her eyes go wide then back to normal "oh" is all she says and a chuckle threatens to escape me, thats all she has to say?

"lets talk?" Amahra says to Aurora, her eyes snap to the doctor's and she looks down nodding slowly, "would you be more comfortable if Zane leaves?" Amahra asks her softly, Aurora nods and I head out of the room at her command, understandable she barely knows me, And I bet this is a lot to take in, Ill give her all the time she needs

I shut the door letting out a sigh, and then walking downstairs and towards the living room and sit on the spacious couch.

there are 3 of us living in this house, Alex, Demitri but we all just call him D and last but not least Me Zane Ramón a King of Vampires, The other three dimwits have been on a mission for the last three years killing a bunch a rouge vampires that have been attacking our people, we just got back a few weeks ago and thats when I started going to the diner and when I first saw Aurora I came back every single day just to see her.

I knew the rest of the boys are gonna like her too so I brought them to the diner so they can meet her today, but was met with a man dragging her and hitting her on the concrete outside, he's locked up right now they're just waiting for my call to see what were gonna do 

I hear multiple footsteps behind me,  and by their scent I know its just the rest of the guys, I look back, I assumed correct, they sit down on the couch and all let out a sigh collectively "shes really hot" Alex says, hes not wrong but still, I slap the back of his head and hard "do you know where shes going after this?" D asks me and I nod "no where, her dad has been evicted for months now, I don't know how they even lived there" I let out a sigh the only place she can stay is here, I hear small footsteps and a strong vanilla scent making me inhale deeply and next thing I know, Aurora is standing in front of all of us, only clothed in the stuff Amahra got for her, which is just shorts and a light pink tank top, "I just wanted to say thank you" she paused then continues "you know... for saving me" she says, her blonde hair falling over her shoulders, she wrings her hands together nervously and I look at D to see what he thinks only to see him looking at her with hooded eyes, of course "its no problem princess" Alex says a small smile on his face

"ill be outta here by tonight sorry for the disturbance" she says standing up straighter as if she noticed someone

"Oh theres a problem there sweetheart" D says his deep voice making her jump a little

Fuck

D doesnt know how to be kind or gentle so Im just gonna- "your dad is in jail and you have no home" D beats me to it and I slap my hand on my face of course he did this, I look up at Aurora and her eyes are wide and her jaw is on the floor "close your mouth before-"

"Okay! So you can stay here for the meantime" I say before Demitri can scare her off, "oh" is all she says, she tilts her head to the side slighty "are you sure it wont be a problem?" She asks concern lacing her voice, we want you here for goodness sake "its not sweetheart " D speaks up, I just noticed how she hasn't met any of us, my eyes go to Alex and I mind link him quickly 'introduce us' he nods and stands up

"let me introduce us princess" he says with a clap of his hands, his arm goes around her shoulder and he puts his weight on one of his legs

"the one with dark black hair is Demitri but we call him D" he says pointing at him

"Im Alex the one and only" he says looking at her with a lazy grin, making her cheeks go pink

"And thats Zane, hes boring" he says rolling his eyes and swatting his hand in my direction playfully making me chuckle

"He also drinks a lot of milkshakes" she says with a sweet laugh "oh we've heard" D says with a chuckle

"Is the room you woke up in fine?" Alex asks her, she nods "I'm actually gonna get some more sleep, Dr.Amarha said she will monitor me" she say's quickly and goes up the stairs before we could say anything, "her ass is fat" I sigh and slap the back if Alex's head "shut the fuck up" I say rolling my eyes "you weren't lying when you said she was beautiful" D says looking at me with a weird look in his eyes, I nod in agreement

Now to take care of this princess
