"So how are you coping with leaving your 'Young Master' alone with Break~?" You teasingly asked the tall Raven haired young man that walked beside you.

He fidgeted "..Fine.." you grinned at his forced answer and giggled, teasing him was one of the things you loved to do.

You ran a few steps ahead of him down the stone paved sidewalk and turned to him, your hands behind your back.

"I know your not, don't lie~" he looked at you and frowned his brow then walked past you "I am fine (Y/n), now come on we have a Mission to complete" he said flatly.

You quickly turned on your heel and ran to his side "ah..right!" You exclaimed then narrowed your eyes at him and poked his cheek.

"Still I know your not entirely 'Fine'~" you stated well looking him in the eye, you pulled your hand away and smiled "So just focus on me"

Gil widened his eyes "focus..on you?" He said to which you nodded "mhmm, to keep you distracted of course" you added.

The Raven haired male raised a brow then smiled softly "alright" he said though his eyes and mind have always been on you.

The truth was Gilbert Nightray, the Raven of Pandora had a little..no.. more he had fallen head over heels in love with you and everything from the sway of your (H/C) hair as you walked along to your teasing comments about the protectiveness he held for his master made that love grow more and more each day.

He loved you and oh, did you love him But the only problem was that neither one of you knew how to tell the other. Thing is, the two of you were to afraid of the other rejecting your feelings that you wouldn't even try. You thought that if they rejected you, you would never be able to face the other again and therefore ruin the friendship you had cherished for years, ever since..you were kids.

"Good! Now let's find that contractor before he takes his next victim!" You announced and pointed onward which took Gil out of his small train of thought.

"Ah..right" he agreed and the two of you walked further into town since that's where the murders were most common.

You looked around "Heya Gil what exactly did Reim say when he gave you this mission?" You asked since you yourself were never one for paperwork, you would let Gil handle that well you would take down the Contractors.

"He said that the Contractor is nearing the full turn of his clock" he said and you looked at him.

"Meaning he's just about to go on a killing spree before being sucked into the Abyss?" You said and with a sigh he nodded, you returned your eyes forward to the direction you had been walking.

"Well then we have to stop him before any other innocent people are hurt!" You stated and clinched your fists.

"Righ-Ngh!" Gil grunted when he was accidentally ran into though it wasn't an uncommon occurrence, you were in the middle of town after all.

You turned around when you heard the small 'Thump' and saw a little Girl and slightly older Boy.

"i-I apologize Sir, please forgive my little sister we shouldn't have been running" the boy quickly apologized, it seemed he and his sister were somewhat frightened of Gilbert.

"It's fin-" Gil cut himself off when he reached to pat the small girls head but she backed away.

You smiled and giggled a bit as you approached the two children, they backed up a bit but when you gave a soft, warmhearted smile they didn't even budge.
