The ride back to the cave was quiet as nobody dared says anything in fear of another shouting match breaking out. Upon returning Percy made her way to the beach. Without even taking the dress off, she launched herself into the waves.

The instant she had stepped foot onto the sand the waves seemed to respond to her mood.

Sitting on the bottom of the ocean, she hugged her knees close to her chest as some Naiads float by and wave. She could only give them a half-hearted smile as they swam away giggling, a blush evident on their faces.

"Your hei- Percy" Kal says sitting next to her. "Why does Connor have to be such a jerk? I get that I manipulated the mist so that you all wouldn't figure out Batman, Nightwing and Red Robin's identities but he acts like I kicked his unusually large wolf" Percy says in a defeated tone throwing her hands out in indignation.

"Well, that's actually what I came to get you for. I was giving my mission report to Batman, and he wasn't to speak with you and Connor" the Atlantean says.

"Great, and now I've got uncle B upset with me" Percy says before standing and walking out of the surf. Upon arrival at the briefing room Connor sends her a harsh glare. Percy, deciding not to engage again turns her head to her uncle.

"Now that you're both here, we need to talk about your conduct after the mission" Batman says in his usual gruff voice.

Pressing a button on the desk, the screen behind him starts playing a video clearly from Red Robin's point of view. "You have a camera on him?" Percy asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, and had I made your suit you would have had one as well" Batman replies quickly as she slumps into the seat.

"Now, Connor. I don't know what you have against Percy, but you can't keep picking these fights with your teammates" Batman says turning to the teen.

"But she clearly let him get away, how do we even know she's on our side?" Connor demands slamming down on the table. "Like it or not she is a part of this team, just like you. Even if she is a newer addition, she is my partner in crime fighting just like the robins, Red Hood, and Nightwing" Batman says sternly.

"Then why did you send us to get her after she ran away with that group of girls. They clearly weren't heroes considering they shot Wally" Connor growls throwing an open hand towards Percy as if that explains anything.

"Do you even know who those girls were?" Percy demands before batman could say anything.

"Yah, they're criminals. Why else would they carry around weapons?" Connor shoots back angrily. "Are you calling Artemis a criminal then? She carries around a weapon. What about Batman or Red with their baterangs?" Percy demands.

"That's not the Point. At least I know them!" Connor shouts out.

"And you haven't even tried to get to know me! The girls you falsely accused of being criminals are actually a semi-immortal group of warriors hand-picked by the goddess Artemis herself and news flash jerk. A lot of them come from very broken and often times abusive homes. They go around hunting down and dispatching of Greek monsters that not only harm demigods but often times cause problems for mortals too" Percy shouts out in pure anger as the mountain rumbles slightly.

"The reason I was with them was because I was hunting down the monster that killed my mother and stepfather! So, before you come after me, how about you use that small brain of yours to actually consider that you don't know everything!" she finishes her rant as she wipes the tears she didn't even realize were falling from her eyes.

She knew she was being loud and through the water particles in the air she knew that the rest of the team was close by and heard everything. She didn't care though, she just wanted to be anywhere but here right now.

Connor was too stunned to speak, even if he tried to keep a somewhat stoic face.

"Can I go now?" Percy asks turning to Batman. "Not yet. I understand how Connor has been treating you since you joined has upset you, but you can't punch your teammates the way you did" the vigilante says. Percy was about to object but was cut off by the black-clad hero.

"I know that he went to attack you first and there will be consequences for his actions, but you can't react the way you did. If you can't get along with a teammate you put the rest of the team at risk. I need you two to start getting along and will be telling Nightwing to set up individual training sessions for the two of you" Batman says before dismissing her.

Connor also went to get up but was stopped. "Not you. Not yet" Batman says making the teen turn to him.

"You need to stop targeting Percy" Batman orders leaving no room for argument. That of course, did not stop him from getting upset. "I don't know why you all refuse to see it, but she did something the first day she got here. She's messing with our minds" Connor shouts.

"I know, I asked her to" Batman says shocking the kryptonian. "She wanted to tell you all her identity before I brought her here the first day, but I told her she couldn't because it would jeopardize the rest of our identities" Batman informs shutting the teen up.

"As you know, Percy is a demigod. The reason people aren't freaking out over monsters and kids with swords or bows is because of what they call the mist. It keeps the mythical world hidden. I asked Percy to manipulate the mist so that you all would be able to trust her more by knowing her identity without finding out ours. If you're going to be angry with anyone, then it should be me. But how you've been acting towards your teammate ends here. Do I make myself clear?" Batman says sternly.

"Yes... Sir" Connor says begrudgingly. "Right, as for your consequence you will not be going on the next mission. You're free to go" Batman says before making his way out of the room.

Making his way out of the room, Connor enters the living room to find them all on the couches finishing the movie from earlier.

Walking over they all turn to him as Red Robin pauses the movie.

"I'm... Sorry" he says before turning to go to his room. He was about halfway to the hallway when Percy spoke up.

"Wait!" She calls out making him turn as she stands from the couch. Walking over they met each other's gaze as she holds it for a second. "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have punched you back on the mission. Do you wanna finish the movie with us?" she asks with a grin despite her slightly red eyes from crying earlier.

He thought about the invitation for a second before shrugging and inserting himself on the end of the couch.

Word Count - 1,251 Words

I know this was a bit of a shorter chapter than usual, but I feel if I fit anything more into the chapter then it would take away from the problems Percy and Connor have to work through.

I hope you all enjoyed the chapter, none the less.  If you did, I'd love to hear what you liked or even what you disliked so that I know how to improve.  As always, I'll be releasing another chapter in a week and I hope you stick around to read it.
