Hey everyone, welcome back and happy Easter!

I hope you all enjoy this weeks chapter.

================================================================================

Percy had been living in the Wayne manor for about a week now. It was now the day of Sally's funeral in New York. Bruce made preparations so that they would have a ceremony at one of the local Funeral homes before going to the Cemetery for the headstone he bought.

"Percy! Are you ready?" Bruce called out to the young girl. He didn't get a response right away but they heard the sound of her high heels clicking on the ground.

Turning to the stairs all the boys including Bruce and Alfred watched as Percy came into view. She wore a black long-sleeved dress with matching black high heels. The dress went down to just below her knees and she wore legging under it.

"Ugh, do I really have to wear these death traps?" Percy asks as she stumbles slightly. She's only had to wear heels a few times before and she did not like it any better this time.

"It's proper funeral attire" Bruce says causing Percy to grumble about 'rich people and being proper'.

Making her way out of the house and into the Limo she instantly looked out the opposite window while tapping her fingers. The others all followed her lead before Alfred got in the driver's seat and they were off.

The ride was quiet with very little conversation. They could all tell that Percy wasn't looking forward to this, not that they could blame her. The sound of her drumming her fingers on her leg filed the limo.

Jason was scrolling through his phone with his headphones in. Dick was humming a melody to something he was listening to. Tim was typing away at his computer filling the vehicle with rhythmic clicks from his keyboard. Bruce was reading some reports for work and Damian sat there looking out the other window.

"Will you Seace that annoying tapping" Damian growls out at Percy. "I'm ADHD dude, you got anything better for me to do?" Percy shoots back not taking her gaze away from the passing landscape.

"I've seen you twirl that pen of yours while bored. Do that, just stop the tapping" Damian demands with his eyebrows furrowed. This had caught the attention of the others in the car.

Bruce was about to step in and reprimand his son but never got the chance. Percy simply shrugged and pulled her pen out twirling it at what the others had to admit was impressive speeds.

Once they arrived, they noticed the media lining the street. Bruce let out a sigh knowing what was to come.

They had prepped Percy on how to deal with the media anticipating something like this would happen. Word of the long-lost Wayne sister's death and the adoption of Percy had gotten out.

Alfred opened the car and they all got out, Percy just happened to be first. Walking towards the building the flashes of the cameras and people shouting filled the girl's senses.

She was almost to the door when one of the more determined news castors acted. Reaching out the middle-aged man grabs her wrist pulling her slightly. "What's it like-" he begins with his question only to be cut off.

Bruce and the boys were about to step in having just seen Percy get grabbed but never got the chance. Percy, not in the mood to deal with the media sent a half-hearted wolf glare at the man.

She never used her full-on wolf glare on mortals but this did the trick as the man instantly let her go and started sweating.

Percy took this opportunity to slip into the funeral home.
