Dahvie's POV
I don't know how much longer I had sat there on the bench thinking about what Becka had said. After awhile though, I realized she was right. I should show Jayy how much it hurts to be ignored.
But what if it didn't bother him?
Well it should at least a little, I mean he's my best friend, it should bother him if I just stopped talking to him. But I was hoping it would bother him a lot, because that would mean he liked me back.
I sighed, finally getting up from the bench, heading towards the bus. Thank god they hadn't left, I knew we were suppose to leave soon for a concert in a few towns over. I eventually reached the bus, and I silently made my way inside. It was dark and quiet, and I expected a crazy murderer to jump out soon. But nope, I was safe. No one was awake, and I made my way back to my room. I paused in front of my door, glancing over at Jayy's room. I wanted so badly to run in there and apologize for yelling at him, to kiss him, to hold him tight. But I couldn't. I had a plan to go through with. So I closed my door behind me, crawled into my cold bed, and fell asleep to thoughts of Jayy.
XxThe Next DayxX
Okay so things were a little awkward in the morning, and I remember that the whole bus had witnessed that whole...situation last night, ending with me leaving. I didn't say anything about it. And neither did they.
Once everyone had had breakfast (served by me of course) they started talking about the next show, and started making plans. Once the bus started moving, I retreated into my room, and grabbed my guitar. I strummed randomly for awhile, not really trying to write a song, just finding comfort in the music. An hour or two later, I heard a knock on my door.
"Dahv?" Jayy asked, and I remained silent.
"Dahvie..." he said, almost too quietly for me to hear. He then opened the door and just stood there, leaning against the doorframe. I stared at him, then looked back at my guitar, running my fingers over it.
"Dahvie, come on. Can we just forget whatever all of this is and-"
I started strumming my guitar to block out his voice. I didn't want to hear him talk. To say we should forget everything. He sighed as he realized I wasn't going to talk, then he left, closing the door behind him.
Jayy's POV
Since I couldn't make him talk to me, I had to go through with Haley's plan. Great.
As soon as the bus stopped we all pushed our way off of the bus, even Dahvie. We always go to the place where we will perform as soon a we get there. To get a feeling of it before we put on a show. (A/N I just made that up! I don't know what they do on tour, sorry!) So that's what we did. We got up on the stage, just looking or walking around, occasionally nodding our heads.
Afterwards we went to rehearsal. We practiced a few songs until we were stopped by our manager. [Not sure how rehearsals go either, so sorry :/]
"Stop. I'm sorry, the music sounds perfect but guys... Jayy and Dahvie, you don't have energy. Where is the feeling?" he asked. I knew he was right. We weren't as into the music as we normally were. We just kinda shrugged at him, I didn't really know what to say, and Dahvie didn't either. The manager sighed, then told us to take a break.
Dahvie looked over at me, saying nothing. I couldn't help but glance at his lips, wanting to kiss him senselessly. I snapped out of it, looking away from his tempting lips.
Stop thinking like that!
I had a plan to go through with, and if it ended with finding out the truth, then I was all for it. I looked back towards Dahvie, but he was speaking to the manager. Still watching Dahvie, I went over to Haley and she smirked, "Stop staring Jayy. He's going to notice. Oh, wait. Never mind, he just did." she laughed as Dahvie had looked over at us questioningly, then turned away from us again.
