Previously we saw Jaune pondering, over how far he had come, from being the weakest Beacon student, to a certified cold blooded killer. However HATE considered that he has made his choice a long time ago. He knew that he had to follow up with his choice as he decided to go after his next target. Meanwhile Ozpin has his cup of hot chocolate pondering on the events that had happened, first Yuri's getting the Spring Maiden's powers, then the Council being wiped out and Team CRDL's death, and all this happened after Jaune left the school. However his thoughts were snapped out when Alex came into his office, he wondered what she wanted since Jaune was no longer in this school. However he came to know she wanted a leave, as 5 of her family members were killed in one night. As Ozpin shared his condolences, he wondered who did this. Alex described him to be a monster, a monster had killed them. Upon further inquiry this monster was Jaune, shocking and horrifying Ozpin, he then gave Alex his approval, and she had left. Ozpin knew something was off with Jaune ever since he had snapped in his fight against Cardin, all those days back. He seen that form before, and he needed to investigate it before it is too late. Back at the Arc Household, it was a dark day for many as Jaune's immediate relatives were shocked, devastated at what Jaune did, many broke down in tears, as Belize pondered over what he should do, he clearly failed Jaune, as well as failed to keep his promise. He knew that the elders want him dead at this point, forcing him to comply with what needs to be done. However Belize was in for a shock, as Jaune earlier had killed all the Arc Elders, with Mason pleading for his life, however Jaune ignored his claims, calling him a fake and a liar, he even told him that Mercy is given to those that deserve it. He then slayed him, as he confronted Belize who was devastated at what happened, Belize knew that his former nephew was not listening to him, given that he believes that everyone is a liar, which was due to Jean's actions telling him. that the elders will be like his grandparents, as a result they are forced to fight. Jaune disabled Belize's Semblance, but that was not enough, he proved himself to be quite the formidable fighter as he was able to push Jaune to his limits, overwhelming twice on two separate locations, as Jaune was in his knees, Jaune decided to not hold back, enhanced by his own hatred, he managed to get the upper hand, and take down Belize. Belize, however did not hold any animosity towards Jaune, and was happy that he was still in there, he then spoke that he knew that he will break from the clutches of HATE one day, as Jaune leaves him for dead and escapes.

Library, Beacon Academy, 8:30 PM

Ozpin was looking over the library as he knew that being, he was reading through the book, he was looking for the information based on a Black Being with two red glowing eyes and a smile. 

So far all he came across was Grimm on different shapes and sizes annoying him to no end, however one thing caught his eye, it was a description of how Jaune's form looked like when he fought, seeing that this was his best lead, he decided to read. 

Ozpin: "HATE....also known as the manifestation of a person's hatred, whatever you do...do not read this..."

Ozpin looked around, he knew that this was the only thing that came close to Mr. Jaune's new power, he always knew that this power gave him and many others a sinister vibe, and that was before he got Manny or any of his other Grimm companions.

Ozpin: This is my only hope....I need to read more about this 'HATE' and what it has done to Mr. Jaune.....was he responsible for all the murders....only one way to find out.
