After a few hours riding the airplane, Randa Liwanag, and his best friend, Dean Sanchez, have finally arrived in Bangkok, Thailand.

"That was a long flight." said Dean.

"Yeah, but at least we are finally here!" replied Randa.

After several years of living in the Philippines, they have both decided to move to Bangkok in hopes of having a better future for themselves.

"Where is our apartment again?" Randa asked.

Dean checked his phone to see the details given to them.

"Oh it's across downtown." said Dean.

They immediately rode the nearest available Tuk-Tuk vehicle.

After several minutes, they have finally arrived at their address.

They immediately grabbed their luggage bags and proceeded to enter their new residence.

As they got inside, they noticed that the apartment is full of dust and dirt.

"O...kay? This is not what I expected it to be." said Dean.

Randa pondered for a moment.

"We need to clean up." Randa mentioned.

"Yeah but how are we going to do that? We don't have cleaning stuff with us." Dean tells him.

"Oh yeah. We need to go to the market. You have our savings right?" asked Randa.

"I sure do." said Dean.

"Great. Let's settle our own things first and go to the market."

As they put their bags at one corner of the room, they lock their apartment's door and proceed to the nearest marketplace located within the neighborhood.

They bought several cleaning tools: a broom, a mop, sponges, a feather duster, buckets, trash bins, a dustpan and cleaning liquids.

They also bought dinnerware and other essentials for their new home.

As they got back, they immediately proceeded to clean the entire apartment.

It took them the entire afternoon to clean up everything.

After 3 hours, Randa scrubs the counter for one more time, and they were finally done.

"I'm exhausted!" cried Dean.

"Yeah, that was a lot to clean." said Randa.

"I'm ordering dinner online, I don't want to get out anymore."

"Fair enough."

Dean stands up from the floor and goes to his room to get his phone.

A few moments later, pizza has arrived.

"So when can we expect the other furniture to arrive?" asked Dean.

"The delivery people said tomorrow is the earliest. Hopefully they arrive before we begin signing up for jobs in the afternoon." Randa answered.

"Agreed." Dean said.

As they continue eating their meal on the floor, a shooting star passes towards the sky.

Randa notices the flying object from their apartment window.

"What's that?" Randa asked.

"That's weird." Dean seconded.

They heard a little blow coming from the other end of the city.

"Well, that's probably going to end up in the news." Dean commented.
