When I opened my eyes, I gasped for air, confused as everything around me was blurred. I was holding myself up on my elbows when my vision slowly became clearer.

Neytiri who sat next to me all the time and cleaned my body from all the dried blood, she let out a shocked scream and pulled me in the next moment immediately into a hug. I pushed her slightly away from me and looked down at my chest as my wound started to hurt again. When I put my hand on it and saw all the blood which flowed out again I started to panic.

»Stay here, don't move my child« said Neytiri and slowly put my head back to the floor, pressing a kiss on my forehead before she got up. »I will get your father« I nodded my head at her words, still unable to speak.

Within seconds my whole family was standing in the room. Even Norm was there, probably he was called by Jake in the hope that his human devices and strange machines would help. »This is a real wonder« he said standing in the middle of the room with his mouth open.

Neytiri closed her eyes, interlocking her hands, and looked upward »Eywa has heard my prayers. I thank you great mother...« Kiri put her hand on Neytiri's arm just as relieved.

»Welcome back sis« Lo'ak said with a wide smile on his face.  »Aww already miss me? You can admit it, you know I don't blame you for that baby bro...« and when I said this I suddenly became aware that the other one was missing.

»Where is my brother?« I shouted across the room seeing everyone drop their gaze to the floor.

Jake knelt down next to me, caressing my head to calm me down. My feelings were completely confused. I didn't even know what to think and what not. I clawed my hand tightly in his arm.

»Dad...where is Neteyam?« I felt tears running down my face as he just ignored my question.

»We need to stitch up your wound, stay strong and don't move my child« was all he said before Norm gave him a needle and he brought it close to my chest. I hissed and slapped his hand away from me before Lo'ak and Norm grabbed my arms and held them down. The panic inside me grew even more and I started screaming and kicking with my feets.

»It wasn't that bad, right?« Lo'ak said as everyone else left to let me rest.

»Shut up skxawng« I replied, looking down to the floor. It must have been an hour since I woke up and there was still no sign of Neteyam. Is that even possible? that he doesn't care at all about how I am? When I looked through the window and saw that it was already light outside I realized something.

»How long have I been gone?« I asked but got no answer. Instead, this time he was the one looking down.

»Lo'ak how long?« I asked again a little louder, making him look at me at last. »3 days.« he answered. »We tried everything to get you awake. Ronal didn't want to help you, in her eyes you were just a demon child who does not deserve to live. Mother discussed with her for hours, horrified that the Tsahik wants to let her child die. Norm arrived within an hour, he also tried his things, but your pulse beat slower and slower and at some point your heart just stopped. You know we all thought we had lost you, even your funeral was scheduled for tomorrow«

I looked at him speechless with my mouth open. It was so hard for me to believe all this. I mean I have lost three days of my life and it only felt like seconds.

»That's a good start. Now tell me where Neteyam is« I stood up, tilting my head to the side.

»I don't know« was all he could bring out of himself.
