Ingo pretended to be sleeping when Sabelo attempted to initiate sex the previous night. She woke up before her alarm, Sabelo was still sleeping, and she tiptoed out of their bedroom to shower in a spare room. An hour later she was fully dressed in her scrubs and making cereal, "Good morning", Sabelo showed up only in his boxers, Ingo almost drooled, and Sabelo smiled. "What?", she asked trying to hide her amusement, "I thought you did not like all of this no more", he got a bowl and made his own cereal, "I was tired" "Oh, so you were not sleeping?", he asked. Ingo finished her cereal and dropped her bowl on the sink, "I have to go, bye", she quickly said and walked towards the table they used to place their car keys, "Wait", he followed her, "I wanna cook us dinner tonight, just something intimate, please show up", he asked her. Ingo chuckled, "You are so unromantic, you could have made it a surprise" "Oh no, last time I tried that you did not show up and you said I should've told you", they both laughed at the memory. Sabelo went for a quick peck, but Ingo turned fast, offering him a cheek instead.

Sabelo stood by the door watching his wife get into her car and drive to work after the gate closed. He went to get his phone and dialled Mdluli's number, "I can't talk, I'm at work", Mdluli whispered, "Don't drop, I won't take long. I need you to investigate my wife, she is acting strange lately", he knew he sounded ridiculous at the moment. "You suspect that she knows something about the murder?", Mdluli asked, no longer concerned about work, "No, no, I think she is cheating", he confessed, "And how is that helping my case?", he was a bit annoyed, "It's another task I am giving you, find that out for me" "As long as you are paying, my man", Sabelo had to add to the bill, "Sure", he agreed. "Okay, send a clear picture of her and all crucial information, now I have to get back to work, we'll talk later", Mdluli quickly dropped the call.

"I've stayed long enough here, I want to come back", Siphokazi cried out to Ingo on their phone call. She wanted Ingo to tell Nomuzi that they needed her at Johannesburg because she would not hear anything coming out of her mouth. Ingo was running late for her shift, "Sipho, talk to your husband I cannot do anything, I'm a wife in this family just like you", Siphokazi's last hope faded, "Fine, I thought you missed the kids, clearly, I was wrong", she opted for a blackmail, "Oh come on, you know I miss them", Ingo began her walk into the hospital from the parking lot, "Okay, if we do this, it'll have to be before Friday because I'm going home and we can use that as a reason", she pressed the elevator, "Thank you", she could hear the excitement in Siphokazi's voice. "Tell Lifa that we'll take Blake to his haircut when he gets back", Ingo smiled, imagining how fun it would be, "Urgh, I still don't understand why you still keep that dog, it doesn't even bark", Siphokazi does not like Blake, she just doesn't like pet animals.

"I got you a carrot cupcake, your favourite", Londi stood by the door holding the cupcake while Ingo searched for some files, she looked at her and back to the files without saying anything. Londi got inside the office, "Friend, I'm sorry when I arrived home that day I found the whole family there, I couldn't leave", Ingo found the file, "You couldn't text either", she walked out of the office with Londi on her side, "I put the bag with the phone on the bedroom I couldn't hear it ring by the time I saw missed calls and it was already late to call I figured you were sleeping", she explained, "I see", Ingo simply answered, and Londi offered the cupcake again, Ingo just stared at it. "I still don't get why he doesn't have any social media accounts, I wanna stalk him so bad", they passed by two nurses that were busy searching on their phones, "Urgh, when is everyone gonna get over my husband", Ingo complained and took the cupcake, "Oh sweety, Sabelo is last week's news, they are talking about the new doctor", Londi told her. "Another male doctor", Ingo said bored. It was normal for female staff at this hospital to be all over new arrivals, Ingo was not surprised by the nurse's reaction, she missed his welcoming because she was late.
