"What the fuck, Siphokazi?!", Ingo asked as soon as Siphokazi sat opposite her. She went to visit her at the station, and after denying her a visit for some time they finally allowed her 30 minutes, "I had to do this" "What did you tell them?", Ingo asked, "Everything but I didn't mention you", she said, "Fuck that! Why would you want to give up everything after such a fight?" "I did this for my kids, Ingo, they love you because you give them your all, I can't do that because I live with the regret that I murdered a pregnant woman", she explained, "You didn't know she was pregnant", Ingo said, "She shouldn't have died in the first place", Ingo didn't say anything, "Look, I understand your frustration but I want to be a good mother to my kids, I need to do this, besides it was gonna come back to bite us when we least expected", she said. "Have you spoken to Sabelo?", Ingo asked, "No, I know he'll be here with divorce papers very soon", Ingo laughed, "Come on, be easy on my ex-husband", Siphokazi chuckled. "I guess I have to confess my part in this", she got serious, "No, I told them I was alone in this" "Siphokazi, you're not the only one having sleepless nights about this. She deserves justice and if we regret what we did we have to be honest", Ingo said. "If they offer a deal, please take it", Siphokazi said, "They will ask me to testify against you" "I know, Ingo, we have to think for our children, we have to make tough decisions. We can't be both locked up here, I am certain you don't want to deliver your first-born in jail", she said. "Okay, my time is up, I have to go. Take care", Ingo announced, "Thank you, Ingo-Musa, I will never forget you in my life", Siphokazi said and Ingo nodded before leaving. It was game over, she had to come clean and put an end to all of this mystery. She went to the detective's office, Nkanyiso and Mabutho unknowingly waited for her outside.

"Bro, we've been here. I'm just gonna go pee real quick", Nkanyiso said. Ingo forced them to drive straight to the police station, Mabutho has been quiet this whole time. Nkanyiso asked the front desk for the direction to the bathroom, he followed the instructions, and then he saw Ingo sitting at detective Molapo's office. He rushed to the office, "What are you doing here?", he asked before he could enter, once inside, he saw detective Molapo, "Nkanyiso, just wait in the car. I need to speak to him", Ingo said, "Without a lawyer, Ingo seriously? You know better than that", he asked. "Detective, please give us a few minutes", the detective looked at Ingo, "I'll be back", she said and left with Nkanyiso, "You not done making my brother mad", he said as they walked to the car, "This doesn't concern him", she replied to a bit annoyed, "If you were not pregnant, yeah maybe". They got in the car, "Yeah tell me what you wanted to tell Molapo?", he asked searching for a notepad and a pen, Mabutho looked at them, "Are we done here?", he asked, "Nope, she wanna say something to detective", Nkanyiso replied. Nkanyiso and Mabutho heard about Siphokazi's confession on their way back to Johannesburg, but they didn't even bother to ask Ingo, or Mabutho didn't want to talk to her. She looked at them nervously, "I helped her clean the scene" "Ah!", Mabutho exclaimed, "Don't you dare judge me, Mabutho, you've done worse!", she snapped, "Guys, come on. Carry on, Mkhatshwa", Nkanyiso said, "That's all, she called me around 2 am, saying she had an emergency, I didn't know until I was there, she looked like she'd seen a ghost. She begged me to help her, I didn't know what to do, we cleaned up and ran away", she explained. "Why didn't you tell the truth when you got arrested?", Mabutho asked, "We made a promise to never talk about that fateful night" "Even if it meant you paying for her crimes?", he chuckled in disbelief, "Are you that stupid", Nkanyiso tried to meddle again, "Mabutho, just stop! Just wait outside if you have nothing to say!", he snapped for the first time, they both looked at him, he had enough of their bickering even in serious cases, Mabutho sat still, "Good, Ingo make it fast I don't have the whole day", he said, "We threw her bloody clothes and a knife in the late, but I was thinking she could use that to get less sentence, she said I could take a deal and testify against her", Nkanyiso nodded, "Let's go talk to Molapo, don't tell him everything, okay?", Ingo nodded.
